Convenient spot for visiting Fukuoka. Very basic, but affordable and clean apartment. The elevated train lines are very close to the house, so you'll hear trains going by from indoors.

It was nice to be up and have a view. Nice balcony. Room layout was pretty good, though toilet room was smallest I’ve seen in Japan. The “comforter” was weird- it was fabric wrapped around a piece of foam, so it was stiff. I was either too warm or cool most of the night. The building was classy and had a nice feel to it.

It was the best of all the accommodation reservations I've made through Airbnb. Tableware and kitchen utensils such as gas stove burners, microwaves, coffee pots, plates/cups are basic, and shower towels, skin lotion, cotton pads, toothbrushes, washing machines, etc... are really thoroughly prepared. Even a mobile phone charging cable is provided. (5-pin, C-type, iPhone, etc.) Also, the host is very kind and responds quickly. If you are traveling with 5 people, we recommend this accommodation. As described, it is within a 5-minute walk from Akasaka Station, so transportation is also convenient. (There are 5 beds, but there are a lot of fluffy blankets, so I think that if one person sleeps on the floor with a blanket, up to 6 people can sleep.)

Awesome spot with an amazing view and surroundings~ I just spent a night there, but it was perfect and the bed was so comfy!

There is some distance to the subway station, but it's not a big problem if you take a taxi. The accommodation is spacious, and the table is spacious and nice. The bathroom and shower are also separated, so it's more convenient, and there are enough towels and amenities. The building itself is tidy, and there is only one house on the first floor, so it feels safe. The grocery store in front of the accommodation is cheap, and there are a variety of cooking foods, so it's good (cash payment only).

Everything was great, for me, one of the most important things during traveling is the cleanliness of the apartments and Toyo's place was super clean, andI really appreciate it. We got very clear instructions that helped a lot. The closeness of the train was a bit loud, but otherwise it was super convenient and comfortable. I absolutely recommend!

Lilian's place is well placed within Fukuoka. I could disappear to a coffee shop within a 10-15 minute walk to Ohori Park. Or enjoy Daimyo, as it's only 40 minutes away on foot or well connected through the metro or bus service. This is one of the few times that the metro really is a "two minute" walk from the apartment. There is a konbini and grocery store close by. Regarding the apartment, realize you are stepping back into the 1970's. There's a desk, a small kitchenette, fridge, TV (with cable) and excellent wifi. And the bed is super comfortable. But the room does have a musty smell. And the bathroom lacks a washlet and a large tub. If you're a small person, it's just fine. If you're a bigger person, this may not be the place for you. I managed just fine and would even consider again in the future. Lilian is a great host and is very responsive. Just know what you're walking into - this is very much an efficiency apartment. But you can't beat the location for the value provided.

It was close to the center, and the accommodation was so clean that it was a very satisfying accommodation! There was a station right in front, so it was convenient to move around:) If I come to Fukuoka next time, I want to stay for consecutive nights!!!

Cozy accommodation in quiet area with easy access to the center of Fukuoka. The apartment was exactly as described – clean, well equipped and pleasantly quiet. By train you can get to Hakata or Tenjin quickly and easily. Perfect for those who live a little outside but want to reach the city easily. Recommended!

We all had a lovely stay! Beautiful place, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen facilities are great. Fully equipped. Laundry facilities in house too. The location was good, and the accommodation was tidy. It was the same structure as the photos, and I felt that the bedding and towels were being washed cleanly. I was able to contact the host right away, so there was no inconvenience.

This Airbnb is one of the best I've stayed at 💖 It's located fairly close to the airport, and also to Tenjin shopping area. There are several buses + subway lines that can get there without having to transfer. Within 10min walking there are many restaurants nearby as well. It was easy to find and get inside with the keypad lock. Masaru-san sent all the info I needed before I arrived so I could get in quickly. There is equipment for cooking, utensils and cutlery, the bathroom was very clean, everything was super organized. There were many bicycles downstairs I could use, Masaru-san even provided an umbrella and laundry detergent which I find many Airbnbs don't have (the umbrella was super helpful as it was the rainy season so there was rain for several days). There was even a booklet on the table listing sightseeing places and food in Fukuoka, very thoughtful. Masaru-san is very responsive to messages and always answered quickly. Wonderful stay, definitely recommend 👍✨✨

I felt so comfortable that I felt like I was living in Japan! The surroundings were pretty, peaceful, and the accommodation was neat! I'm willing to come back☺️

I visited with 4 people and it was so comfortable and well rested. I visited during Golden Week and the hotel was too expensive, so I rather stayed in an Airbnb with the maximum number of people, but it was the best choice. I said that there were a lot of small places to stay in Japan, but the bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of space to sleep. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable!! The new building has Netflix, a dining table, a veranda, and the host is incredibly kind. About 13 minutes on foot from Hakata Station? There are Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby, so the convenience is good. It was a little uncomfortable that the number of towels came out less than the nights I stayed, and everything was very good. If you want to stay in Hakata, be sure to stay here!! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
