The apartment is in Daun, OT Pützborn, in a quiet location. The footpath to Daun goes uphill. In the village is the Wild-u. adventure park and REWE (open until 10 pm). The Volcanic Eifel, known for its maars, has many beautiful hiking and cycling trails. The Eifelsteig is nearby. The Kosmosradweg [bike path] provides easy access to the Maare-Mosel bike path. The Nürburgring and all sights can be reached by car. Daun-Senheld Airport offers sightseeing flights over the maars, the Mosel or the Nürburgring.

We just stayed in Volker's apartment for 5 days. From the house you can walk into the woods for endless walks. Beautiful views, nice garden with lots of privacy and in the house there is everything you need. Volker is a friendly host who speaks great English and communicates quickly and clearly. Large space where the value for money is fine.

We spent a few days at this wonderful place last week, and it was truly a dream. We were looking for peace and rest, and we found exactly that—and so much more. The atmosphere is calm and soothing, the surroundings are beautiful, and the space itself is incredibly comfortable and cozy. The view and the nature around us felt like a dream come true. We felt deeply connected to the environment, and even though the pictures are beautiful, they simply can’t capture the feeling of actually being there. It’s something you have to experience for yourself. The hosts were absolutely lovely—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth and stress-free, which made everything even more enjoyable. We’re extremely happy with our stay and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended if you need to recharge in a peaceful, welcoming environment!

The place was very clean and it had everything you needed. Even little extras :) The log cabin was my first experience with Airbnb and it just couldn't have been better! Eva & Pascal’s home in Gerolstein had plenty of space for us to relax, and the kitchen was so well equipped that we were even able to save the day by baking cookies for our entire family reunion group camping nearby. A warm, comfortable stay in a beautiful setting—highly recommended!
