Simply the perfect place to stay if you're going to Switzerland. Sarah is a great host. The house is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the country. In addition to that, I helped my mother recover her wallet, which we value very much and we are very grateful for.

We (3 girlfriends) had a wonderful stay. In addition to focusing on working (thanks to Wi-Fi), you could ventilate your head with the beautiful view and small hikes. Cooking and heating with wood was homely. We enjoyed it.

the scenery is outstanding. truly what we expect. i recomend Theres place to anyone who prefer enjoy and feel like the local. The house is very accomodating especially the kitchen very very complete. we felt very homey and love the place but the place only accessible by car i think. if you walk/using public transport this place will be quite a walk.

Hugely successful 'once in a lifetime' family skiing trip, largely due to our host John's exceptional help in all matters. There were 17 of us and everbody was happy with their sleeping arrangements. John located us looking lost in town, escorted us up the hill and put chains on our rental car. He was the perfect gentleman, calm, welcoming and helpful. Excellent support before and during our stay. The Racklette John and family produced was delicious, a novel meal and a first for most of us. Lots of little extras, like the Xmas tree and sleds for the kids. So much ice cream we could hardly finish it all! Oh, and the brand new kitchen.

Place was surprisingly larger than photos. Perfect for 2 families with 5 toddlers! Very clean, had everything we needed. Slopes were so close, kids slope was walkable. Owners were so friendly and helpful. Nothing more we could ask for. Thanks for having us!

Apartment is centrally located to reach the gondola. Shopping in the village is also within walking distance. Unfortunately, it was often noisy at night and in the evening due to the surrounding apartments and the street right next to the house. Especially on weekends and at the beginning of the month, village gossip is increasingly taking place in the lower restaurant. Friday evening the music went until 1 o'clock. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the apartment and the equipment of the apartment. There was definitely nothing missing here!!

Strongly recommended for anyone looking for various options in Engelberg and activities in the area. Proximity to Bahnhof and public transportation makes this a great choice, with an option to keep your car in the parking garage. Friendly service, clean and uncluttered apartment makes this a relaxing choice.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Engelberg. The host was extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. The house itself was spacious, warm, and perfectly suited for us. Waking up to the stunning mountain views from the window was truly surreal. The location is ideal—just a 5-minute walk to the Titlis cable car station, making it very convenient for exploring the area. This is the perfect place for anyone visiting Switzerland. Modern beautiful place, quiet, well-equipped, nice area and helpful landlords. Lake as well as supermarket and bakery within minutes walking distance. We and our dog felt comfortable. We'd love to come back!

We’re back for the second time and Karl’s place is great. Engelberg is a fantastic location and we had good week of skiing. Highly recommended.

There were two of us and felt very comfortable in the apartment. When it got more autumn outside, the heating was there immediately. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances as well as dishes. But the highlight of the apartment is the view of the lake and the mountains. The location on the slope requires a vehicle even if the place is easily accessible by bus. Nice that there is a parking space for the car.

It was a lovely family Christmas! The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The panorama from the living room to the lake and the mountains is amazing. The owner is very responsive, always responding quickly to messages. And an important moment for us - our youngest daughter forgot her phone in the apartment, and we discovered the loss only a few days later. The owner resolved this issue very quickly, the phone was even charged so that we could see its location. We are definitely ready to return here, with pleasure!

It was awesome stay here, house was well setup for kids as well. lots of toys available for kids. felt like in home. Only thing missing was dishwasher or washing machine, but that was not described as well.

Fantastic stay at Heidi’s. Spotless and great amenities for a self catering stay. The only item it doesn’t have in the kitchen is a microwave. The chalet is lovely and warm, and facilities to quickly wash and dry clothes. It was easy to find and access. The location is fabulous. Peaceful with glorious views. 15 minute walk to town or 2 minute bus. The bus does stop early (5pm) and only runs in winter so bear in mind if you may want an evening meal out (and tired legs in tow 😁) A few tips- you need Swiss plug adapters- we had the standard European and they don’t fit so buy some on amazon as everything is 💵 in Switzerland! I would try and bring food items if your luggage allowance allows. Tea/ coffee/ cereals etc. Example price at the coop is 6CHF for cheerios (!) We love engelberg- it has so much to do- this time we did ice skating, furenalp for sledging and snow shoeing, Brunni for sledging, swimming, skiing lessons at klostermatt for the kids, Trubsee. I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s this is a standout first class apartment with plenty of space for 3 of us and right next to the main gondola lift. If there was anything (and this is being mega critical) the foldout bed in the top bedroom is very uncomfortable and maybe only suitable for younger children. Our 12 Y/O was pretty happy but definitely not usable for an adult. Swimming pool was a nice touch although the lovely new Sauna is also nice please be aware brits it’s no swimwear so leave your inhibitions behind !!!
