Built in 1864 and overlooking the village green, Honeypot Cottage is a peaceful, characterful home filled with cosy corners and delightful touches throughout. Curl up on the colourful sofas with a good book or by the log burner for a warm, inviting evening. There’s a comfortable spot to work or catch up on emails, plus a secluded garden and sunny courtyard to unwind in. The surrounding countryside is perfect for woodland walks, cycling, and four-legged friends are very welcome.

The Secret Corner

We have put a lot of care and attention into our unique log cabin, hot tub and private garden. Access is through our separate secure entrance to the bespoke garden. When inside feel free to enjoy a relaxing night under the stars, ideal for a couple or solo travellers. The Secret Corner is the perfect base to explore local areas including Woburn, Wrest Park and a short ride away to Flitwick Train Station with direct access to London St Pancras in less than an hour.

The Old School House Annexe, Irchester

Beautifully refurbished internal annexe within what was the village school (1840). Sole use of annexe. Wifi, TV, DVD player, printer, well equipped kitchen inc washing machine, freezer. Irchester is a village three miles from both Rushden and Wellingborough. Pub, cafe, shop, a short walk, Country Park less than a mile. Easy reach of Northampton, Bedford and Milton Keynes. Guests have access to the owners’ garden. Please note we do NOT take dogs or young children.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The Coach House has an open plan living area complete with dining table, kitchen, wood-burning stove and sofas. From here a large sliding door opens onto a private garden with patio. The courtyard around which the cottages nestle is a lovely place to sit on a sunny day. Beyond the courtyard is a paddock which guests can also access. There is a communal laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The annexe is suited to one or two people, and provides a great base to explore the local area with walks, cycling, golf and the River Great Ouse for paddle boarding, canoeing and open water swimming. Ideally situated for day trips to Cambridge, or London. Bedford mainline train station is 15 minutes away.
