No.33 Coach House

HeatherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
King Charles & Queen Camilla were visiting Northern Ireland at the time of our visit. The King’s residence is in Hillsborough, the castle being right next to Lorna’s house so it was busy for the duration of our stay, however, a five minute walk we were in the beautiful forest with fabulous views of the lake. The parking was challenging (only because of the Royal visit) but we were able to find a space right outside! There were plenty of nice restaurants for meals and some nice local shops to browse. Lorna’s house was very well equipped, full of character and warm The welcome pack was a lovely touch.

Perfect Holiday retreat in Dundrum

KarinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The house is very comfortable and well located. It's an easy walk to the local cafes, pubs and restaurants. Dorothy provided lots of excellent information about local attractions and eateries - and a lovely welcome pack with bread, milk and other goodies. It's just a 10 minute drive to Donard car park if you want to hike in the Mournes. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The Old Bank, a stunning restoration...

DianaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our family had a fantastic 5-night stay at "The Bank" in Portaferry! The location couldn’t have been better – right in the heart of the town. What made our stay truly special was the heritage charm of the property. So many details still reflect its history as an old bank, and that unique character really added to the experience. We especially loved the cosy fireplace, which made those cold, dark winter evenings feel warm and inviting. Plus, everything in Portaferry was just a short walk away, making it super convenient to explore the area. Having a Eurospar right across the street was such a bonus too! We absolutely enjoyed our time here and would recommend "The Bank" to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.
The kitchen and dining area feature light-coloured cabinetry and a neutral tiled floor. A round dining table surrounded by six white chairs is illuminated by a modern chandelier. A colourful piece of artwork hangs on the wall, providing a focal point in the space.

I stayed at Michelle & Margaret's place over the Easter weekend with my two children and my friend. It was very homely & spacious and perfect for what we needed. The location is very central with everything within a couple minutes walk. Our hosts were very responsive and generous, they offered us a late check out which was lovely, allowing us to enjoy our easter eggs before heading home. We will definitely go back again. Highly Recommended.

Thanks for a great stay, Toni. A brilliant location, walkable to local parks and pubs! Toni’s place is quirky in layout but a brilliant combination of a fun, fully equipped kitchen looking over the back play area and parking area, a peaceful living room where you can watch Rostrevor go by, and bedrooms that are cosy, warm, and comfy to stay in! Also a great selection of books, games and recommendations of places to eat and places to go! Will hopefully come back again!

Newcastle Seaside Accommodation

RichardRating, 5 stars16 months ago
We found this house to be very clean. As in 10/10 . The house was well furnished and had great parking. Located right in the centre of Newcastle, everywhere is walkable from this base. We have stayed at several local locations, Kerry the host made this one of the best, with good communication and offering a cot. Excellent value.

Roomz Townhouse no 20

TrentRating, 5 stars13 months ago
We had an awesome stay at Roomz no.20! Just like the pictures with all the mod cons including fast wifi and a really nice welcome pack. The house is very modern and comfortable. We were met by Tracy who is so friendly and helpful and willing to give lots of local information. It’s the perfect place to stay in Portaferry and the house is in a perfect location to see all the local attractions. Make sure to stop by Fiddlers Green Pub just a few steps down the road and you can see one of the Game Of Thrones doors which is inside the Pub. While your there hang around for a beautiful pint of Guinness and chat with the locals. Thanks so much to Conor and Tracy for the awesome stay! 5 stars all around! Can’t wait to come back as soon as possible. Thanks so much Trent and Julie 😊
