3 bedroom house at Murlough, near Newcastle

JensRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just enjoyed a perfect break in this clean, spacious home, which was so well located and equipped for us with our dogs. It’s rare that we find a place to stay that surpasses expectations, but this home did just that. We could relax and feel at home, and enjoy the wonderful walking and scenery immediately outside the door, and the beach was such a treat! We loved Newcastle too, so close by for eateries and waterfront strolls. Thank you Diane for all the obvious effort you put into this home and garden. As others have said, the photos don’t do the place justice - it’s awesome!

Hillside Lodge

Ann-LouiseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Toni was so warm and friendly I could tell she genuinely wanted us to enjoy her home. It was a beautiful cosy home, great place to relax, the decor and detail is just amazing, something different. The kids loved the play park themed garden, played out there for hours! So it was lovely for myself and husband as it allowed us to relax. The town is small but so cute, lovely little bars/pubs and restaurants, people were also very welcoming and friendly. The views surrounding the town kilbroney forest are stunning and picturesque. We learned some history about the area too. It’s a great place to kick back and relax I’d highly recommend. Just what I needed.

Lovely large thatched house, Strangford area

We had a lovely stay at Judenas for the weekend with the family. We had everything provided for us at the house that we could possibly nee, including baby bits, and the beds were so comfortable! Beautiful home with lovely walks all around - the neighbour was also super willing to help with anything we needed.

CONEY Ardglass, Newry Mourne & Down.

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at Judith’s place and we have no doubt we will be back again. A beautiful location, where the sea comes almost to the front door. The kids had complete freedom to come and go to the beach and rock pools, cups of tea and dinner on the front wall, lovely walks near by, and cosy evenings by the fire when it got chilly. An enclosed back garden which was great for the dog. Judith is a very generous host too. Highly recommended all round.

MourneTide Seaside Cottage, foot of the Mournes

KirstyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had the most amazing time staying at this Airbnb in Newcastle, Co. Down. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, tidy, and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location was fantastic—close to everything yet peaceful, making it the perfect getaway. What made our stay even more special was being able to bring our cats along. They settled in so well, and it was such a relief to find a place that was not only pet-friendly but also felt like a home away from home. We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. The attention to detail, comfort, and cleanliness were all top-notch. We’d absolutely love to come back again and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for stay in Newcastle!

Harbour View on the Lough Edge with Hot Tub

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautifully maintained old Portaferry terrace. The view from the front door takes some beating, just walking out the door made you smile. The bedrooms are spacious, with very comfortable mattresses. Good kitchen, back sitting room was a great space to relax and talk after a days walking. Whilst being on the road, the thickness of the walls makes the house silent and peaceful. The property is on the sea front and a short walk to bars, shops and restaurants in the village. A short ride on the ferry takes you into the beautiful village of Strangford and for us a lovely meal in the Artisan Cookhouse (strongly recommend). Michael was a great host, directions and details were spot on. The property was a lovely find and I would thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing get away in a beautiful part of the country.

Littles Cottage, Heart of the Mournes

AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Roisin and her husband were great hosts! We had a problem with the microwave and they got a new one on the same day. There was a beautiful welcoming basket on our arrival. The house is very cosy, very comfortable bed and the surrounding views are breathtaking, Mourne Mountains in the back and Sea in the front of the house. There is a small playground in the garden which my boys enjoyed. Location is very handy to go exploring the surroundings and Asda supermarket is just 10 mins down the road. There is a lovely restaurant not far from there called The Galley and food was delicious! Highly recommend Roisin's place!

It’s the perfect place to take a breath and just let yourself relax by the fire. The cottage is so beautifully renovated with tastefully designed and with high quality kitchenware. Though there’s houses around it still feels private and peaceful. Also, watch out for the little rabbits in the garden. Highly recommend

Tracey and Ian were wonderful hosts. You felt so welcome and at home in their perfect annexe. It had everything you ever needed and more. Tracey left the most welcoming basket of all you needed. We were so appreciative of the goodies we received. Such generous and thoughtful hosts. Ian even dropped us off in the town on our first night and gave us some pointers as where to go and places to visit. The home was beautiful with the most comfiest bed. Everything you need is here, Tracey has added everything and more. A fantastic host. We’ve loved our stay in Armagh! Would highly recommend it. Thank you.

Hill Cottage is a tastefully decorated cottage in an amazing location. We enjoyed our relaxing getaway overlooking the sea with the recent good weather. Attention to detail in Hill Cottage was second to none, and it was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended this cottage. The only thing is you won't want to leave!
