Retreat in the heart of the Mournes

Perfektní ubytování. Hostitelka poslala přesné a jasné pokyny, vše jsme perfektně našli. Ubytování bylo čisté, soukromé. Vhodné pro 4 osoby a 2 děti. Kuchyň plně vybavena, koupelna velká a čistá. Prostředí super. Přivítalo nás sladké občerstvení. To bylo moc milé. Děkujeme a rádi se vrátíme.

Mary and Barry were excellent hosts,we felt right at home. Very clean, tidy and comfortable.Enough space for two adults and two young kids aswell as a toddler(cot provided). Lovely location, very peaceful but still close enough to any attractions we went too. The welcome pack was a really thoughtful touch,as was the stove being set ready for us to light. Would definitely stay here again very soon!

The Swans Nest

AdamRating, 5 stars3 months ago
After the stormy weather we were determined to still travel to the swans nest and were glad we did, it was amazing. It’s right on the lake with really great views. The lid came off the hot tub in the storm so it was cold but it was rectified quickly, emptied and re filled with hot water. We had a great time and felt very private.

The Horsebox, unexpected luxury

LynneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is by far most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. Anne’s attention to detail and loving restoration of the horse box has created a warm, cosy, gorgeously inviting space full of character and surprise. From the cosy blankets in abundance, the well equipped kitchen , the thoughtful provision of breakfast supplies, robes for going to the bathroom, and quirky use of horse saddlery, to the outside spaces with seating and a fire pit, the whole place is a delight from start to finish. The perfect place to relax and enjoy some time out. Sit under the enormous night sky and watch the stars with a hot chocolate in hand wrapped in a cosy blanket. A wonderful place to make some special memories .

Mountain View - Idyllic, breathtaking setting

KayeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
What a gorgeous little shepherd’s hut - thoughtfully decorated with everything we required. The loaf of bread provided was particularly delicious. There was a lot to explore in the area from the Mourne Mountains to seaside location at the bottom of the road. Linda had left useful information on a variety of Mourne walks and was friendly and pro-active with her communication. A lovely stay.

What an amazing tiny home. Easy accessibility from the road but once you are in there it is so private. Overlooking farm and fields and flat land as far as the eye can see. We got such nice weather. So relaxing in the hot tub or on the deck with a beer was an amazing experience. Cannot wait to go back
