Waterfront vacation rentals in Newport

This was our 3rd stay at Christian’s place. It’s perfect for us when visiting family and so much more comfortable than a hotel. Super comfortable master bedroom !

Great place close to all the sports, a ton of pickleball courts just a 10 min walk away, the riverboat cruise was just across the river, and the casino was a 5 min drive away.

Pack a blanket and cozy things to make it feel a little warmer on these cold days but it’s a spacious, beautiful stay. Quiet and close to the event center, this spot provided us with a great location to be in the city to enjoy the entire weekend! Easy parking locations too located nearby.

It was a nice studio apartment, the perfect size for my stay. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities needed to make it a home for the week.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on a work trip. This air bnb made it feel more like a vacation. There’s a coffee shop and bar right below and a great view of the river. I would recommend this place to my grandma.

Grant’s place was comfortable, super clean, spacious and I appreciated the coffee! Check in/out was easy. Convenient tram connection right in front of the apartment that brings you to/from downtown Cincy/airport. Also walkable to many of Newport’s attractions which worked out well for me.

Clean, lovely 2 bedroom apartment. Edward was very communicative and flexible when we didn’t realize the checkout was at 10 am. Would stay there again!

the only difficulties were: finding the driveway, especially in the dark. the light at the door was broken, making the steps difficult to see. the home is beautiful and has a fascinating history that she shared with us, and a wonderful view of the Ohio River.

Penmaen is a beautiful, historic place that was once on the Underground Railroad. It is nestled in the woods on well-maintained, walkable grounds, overlooking the Ohio River. The house itself is large and rambling, affording roomy bedroom suite privacy for guests while also providing a multitude of large common spaces. Everywhere you look, inside and out, there is something to delight--whether fresh flowers, a beautiful antique lamp with statuary, a birdbath outside the breakfast nook, a bouquet of bird feathers on the backdoor, interesting books on the bookshelf, a piano with stained glass, views through antique glass, or antique furniture that looks like it could have belonged to a movie star in the 1930's. Melanie is an amazing, responsive host and a good conversationist, affording you as much privacy as you want. Penmaen is a truly magical place. A good place to act as a base for exploring nearby Cincinnati area attractions, or to spend quiet time in nature.

We had a very peaceful and comfortable stay at Steve's place. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds and other wildlife. There is such a homey feel with lots of places to gather and visit both inside and outside.

My family had a nice time staying at this property. The drive way up to the property was a bit treacherous but the view was nice. It was easy to communicate with the host and the house was pretty well equipped.

The place was perfect. The inside of the house was really nice(the only part is that there are some few old furniture and doors hard to close/lock). The view was the best view I've ever seen at an AirBnb. The only thing that was difficult was the steep driveway off the busy road. But the price was reasonable and the host was very easy to talk to.

Had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was super clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was really friendly and quick to respond to any questions, which made everything super easy. Perfect for a quick family getaway! My kids absolutely loved playing in the driveway, running around in the yard, and walking along the beach! Didn’t even know you could walk a beach in Cincinnati Ohio!! My husband and I spent each night on the deck looking out on the water. Honestly, exactly what we were looking for!

Three of us stayed here for two nights. We used all three bedrooms. Very clean and neat house. We would stay again, but there are some oddities given it's an older home. Beds were comfy. There were mini-air units in three of the bedrooms, but they didn't seem to function properly. Air came out but I never felt hot or super cool air. I don't know how well the central heat/air wor bc the outside temperature was in the upper 50s, so it didn't get that cold or hot. I would be worried the attic bedroom might get hot in the summer, but can't say for certain. There's a finished attic that is a bedroom bathroom suite. Couple things to note: -The shower is VERY tiny (I'm 5 8" and I felt crammed) -Ceiling has very low points near the sink. -No real door to the bathroom (kind of saloon style). If you stay here, the attic can only function as a private bedroom. My friends said the water pressure in the other full bath was mediocre. Water temp was really good.

Wonderful stay, super short drive across the river to lots of stuff to do in Cincinnati. Peaceful & quiet, plenty of space for a short weekend trip. Try out Wayfarer Tavern a few blocks down for some killer pizza. So good we had it 2x in 2 days.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were fantastic, thoughtful and welcoming, with lots of small touches that made a big difference. Their clear, detailed instructions made everything super easy and stress-free. We especially loved the convenience of the parking spot right by the entrance. The place was absolutely spotless, even better than the photos! We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back when we are in the area.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, secure, and overall amazing stay. Somaly has thought of everything and made the space wonderful. The extras in the unit make it exceptional. The parking garage is a quick walk from the unit. Findlay Market is down the street...less than an 8 minute walk. The Connector Streetcar has 3 stops all nearby the unit to hop on/off. Great location. Somaly was very responsive and provided clear directions and check in/out instructions. Highly recommend.

Loved my stay! The yard was so cute and the inside was beautifully decorated. Very cozy. I will definitely stay again! Location is truly unbeatable. Loved it so much!!

Great views of the Cincy skyline. Walked to hofbrauhaus, brothers, pins and OTR.

The place was exactly what we pictured! Great location with so many things to do around it.
