Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Our cozy Riverside Cabin is a place of peace, 15 minutes from downtown Bowling Green. Our retreat is located uniquely, between the beautiful Barren & Gasper Rivers. This is a unique, unplugged experience for a romantic get-away. We don't have WiFi, and cell service is sparse. Prepare for an experience with your favorite person, with nature flourishing all around you. Play games, read a book, go fishing or just rest and relax. Located just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).

If you want a place where you can be socially distanced, this is the place! (discounts for weekly or monthly stays.) The cabin is set in a 90 acre area surrounded by woods with two small lakes (fishing, walking trails and paddle boating available at no extra charge). There is only one other cabin on the 90 acres. Nearest town, Dixon (3 miles), Madisonville (20 miles, Henderson 21 miles), Evansville, IN (has a regional airport about 35 miles). Truly a relaxing getaway place.

This private vacation home on Lake Barkley have beautiful views of the lake and has lots of wildlife viewing opportunities. This property also includes use of a 2 slip private dock at the end of the Rockcastle bay. This beautiful home is located on 10 acres and is on a private drive. The dock is only 150 yards from the back door! ATTENTION!! The dock is only accessible from the water during the summer pool levels. Summer pool is usually April until Early August but dates vary.
