When you first arrive, you will find the entrance on a large, covered patio. There is a gas grill there for your use. We also have a fire pit, so bring wood. Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. Staying here will give you a quintessential small town experience, with malt shop, antique stores, a library, and a variety of locally owned restaurants all within walking distance. Yet we are 10 minutes by car from Bluegrass Airport, world class racing at Keeneland, and less than 30 minutes from stunning horse farms, the state capital, KSU, the Kentucky Castle, and many locations on the Bourbon Trail.

Built as a bed and breakfast history suggests Abraham Lincoln stayed in the home once upon a time. The underground railroad stopped here, marked by the now 200 year old towering Oak tree. The floor plan allows for large scale entertaining and separates public from private spaces.
