I love Bardstown and wanted my cottage to look and feel like what is best about the town- historical charm mixed with modern amenities. Clean, cozy and comfortable; it is a space that I hope you find enjoyable while visiting Bardstown.

Fishing Creek Cottage overlooks Fishing Creek, a popular recreational area on Lake Cumberland and a major arm of the lake. Pulaski County Park and its beach and boat ramp can be seen across the lake. Boaters frequent the area to ski & tube, but are distant enough that noise isn't an issue. We are the last house at the end of a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, & so have relative privacy. The large deck and impressive view are frequently referenced in our guests' reviews.

You'll enjoy access through the back gate to the local park with a walking path around the lake, perfect for evening strolls!

If you are looking to experience lake life, look no further! Our Guest House sits on the beautiful 140 acre Bullock Pen Lake. It's a great place to relax, or enjoy kayaking, paddle boating, paddle boarding and fishing. We have one of the best views of the lake. The Guest House is fully renovated and decorated with relaxation in mind. It has everything you would need for your stay. After all, the lake is where your worries fade and memories are made! Small house with a beautiful wrap around deck overseeing a big pond. Small, simple, and set up for a relaxing get away with the family! The entire house is accessible for a wheelchair including the wrap around deck. Fishing and boating is also with in 10 minutes away at the Rough River Dam State Park. Wifi is fast if you have work to get done, also a small work desk is in the main bedroom. A TV and two big recliners is set up in the living room for lounging.
