Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in New Plymouth District

Stayed here as a group of 6 - was a great stay. The photos make it look like there are three bedroom, however there were only two & a pull out couch. This wasn’t an issue for us, but just something we weren’t prepared for given the photos :)

We came down from Auckland for the International Female Riders Day (motorbikes) and the unit exceeded expectations. Clean, bright and modern with super comfy beds and a lovely big outdoor seating area, with gorgeous views overlooking the ocean. It is alot bigger than expected, with full kitchen and a fabulous bathroom. Plenty of parking space. The location was private and off the main roads, which meant we didn't have to worry about the security of our motorbikes. Wendy was a great host, and I would recommend this airbnb to anyone without hesitation.

I can't recommend this place enough to be honest. The view is stunning, you feel like you are in a movie set waking up in the morning and walking out into the lounge. The decor and finishing is really tasteful and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the place. We've been here twice now and we'll be back again. It's just so nice to sit on balcony/deck and watch the stars. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and the waves are just perfect, with no rips, so you feel safe letting the (appropriately aged) kids get in on their own if you want. We were there late April and water temperature was absolutely fine. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

Edwin’s place does not disappoint. The hosts are friendly and helpful. I did some laundry and they helped me out by putting my clothes in the hamper, as I was out all day. Cool bengal cat hung out with me on arrival as well.

Myself and my 3 kids had a great stay. The views out over the hills and ocean are wonderful (the sunsets were magic!). The space was comfortable, modern and well equipped with all the pieces you need - especially the kitchen with lots of utensils, baking pieces etc. A short drive from Oakura, and not far into New Plymouth makes it a great location.

Thank you for accommodating us for our second visit. The unit is spacious and near new, comfortable and with parking at the door in a very convenient location. We enjoyed our second four night stay as much as the first and we had everything we needed.

Great place to stay with family. Lots of space for everyone. Very large deck that felt very safe for the children. Food at the restaurant was lovely. They also did room service which was wonderful. The ‘second living area’ in the photos was no where to be seen. Not sure if that photo has been posted by mistake 🤷🏼‍♀️ We also weren’t aware this property is actually part of a motel/lodge so when we arrived we weren’t sure where we were. It worked out really well though and everyone was great. The pool in the photos is part of the complex so it was quite busy at some points. The only thing that would have made it better was if there was a vacuum cleaner in the room as this is not a serviced apartment and we had booked for 5 nights with children so we really could have used a vacuum 😅 Would definitely recommend this place to others. Really private with amazing views.

Lovely house for our group staying in New Plymouth. The location is amazing, a few minutes walk from the beach (and lovely coffee!). Beds were so comfy and lots of space. Had great cooking facilities for making meals, but would advise bringing things like tin foil and oil. Thanks so much.

Really nice place. Lots of space and very clean. It was easy to check in and a short drive to the center of town. Lots of nice welcome bits on arrival. Very quiet and the bedrooms were nice and dark at night. We overslept on the last day... Great place for a couple of couples or family.

Jenny's place was spacious, light, and beautifully sunny upstairs. Very tidy, and as described. We didn't cook as we were only there for a couple of nights but it looked like everything you might need for cooking was there. We loved the access to the beach, across the road and down a pathway. I walked along the beach and up the road to the local cafes and shops - maybe 20 minutes walk, and the pizza restaurant was only 5 minutes walk from the house. We only wished we'd had longer there, it was a very comfortable and relaxing place, 100% would stay there again

Great little house, very warm and inviting, and had all the necessities close to all amenities. It was a very clean, perfect house for a getaway highly recommended 👌
