Relax in the stylish and quiet house on the edge of the forest in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, not far from the Rennsteig (2 km away). House is modern and fully furnished with living room including fireplace, sofa, table, TV. The kitchen-living room with induction stove, dishwasher and washing machine is located on the first floor. It is also worth having breakfast/grilling on the terrace with magnificent views in good weather. Bedroom (1.60 m bed), sofa as well as workstation (fast Wi-Fi) and view.

In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. The cozy wooden house is located directly on the edge of the forest in a secluded location, within walking distance of the center (the nearest supermarket is 150 meters away). The climatic health resort of Masserberg as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hiking, cycling and cross-country trails are right outside the front door.

You have a small cottage in the old town of Sonneberg. Ideal for hiking. Free parking on the street. Bus stop and shopping nearby. The small bathroom was modernized in January 2026. Washing machine is available. There is a bedroom with 2 beds. A large double bed and one single bed. A snoring room, also often used as a teen room, can be set up on request.
