Our idyllic tiny house is located directly above the pond, which is accessible from the covered veranda. The newly built living area with kitchen, fireplace & a large sofa – which offers sleeping for an additional 2 people – is connected to the old bee house, where the bedroom & wood-fired sauna (20.00 per person) are located. In the middle of the natural & vegetable garden of the Spicher family lies this small oasis, surrounded by chickens in the old village center of the wine-growing village of Schinznach.

Judith was very welcoming and informative. While we were on the move constantly, the last evening we had a wonderful conversation for hours with Judith. Her place was in a quiet neighborhood and with us bustling about the countryside and during a European Racquetball tournament, coming back to her place late every night ( 6 nights) the calmness of her place helped us reset for each days new adventure. The location is beautiful, tucked in a hillside of Weggis, the host offered pickup and drop which was very useful because it’s a little far from the ferry stop. But it’s worth the view and location. They also offer fresh breakfast to start off the day or a hike which is great especially in a place like Weggis.

AMAZING stay. Bernhardt was attentive and helpful when needed, and also left us to enjoy the stay. I appreciate his recommendations for a car repair and restaurant to help us after a long drive and getting in late. The deck immediately on the lake is the highlight - heated pool, outdoor dining, outdoor shower, sun loungers and steps directly into the lake. Paddle boards were available. The private driveway cannot be taken for granted, this place gives privacy and a quick drive to town. You can enjoy the amenities and views of the area without leaving home if you like! Or, get out for an amazing adventure. Entertaining bird watching! This place is highly recommended and we look forward to coming back.

Farina‘s place was quiet and tranquil with a beautiful veranda overlooking the hills where we saw cows with cowbells and a deer. Verena was responsive, kind and always keen to help, but also allowed us to be private . The unlimited fizzy water bottles and delicious lollies made us feel right at home. Beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a great shower . Overall a fantastic stay thank you Verena x
