Historic vicarage near Nürburgring

The half-timbered house is located in the courtyard of the old rectory of Kirmutscheid/Wirft only 5 minutes from the Nürburgring. The main house was built in 1709 by Baron Gallen zu Assen for the priest and is directly adjacent to the church which was built by Count Ulrich of Nürburg in 1214. The house with approx. 50 sqm of living space has been restored with great attention to detail and renovated only with natural building materials in order not to lose the pleasant indoor climate.

The individual guest house is located at the end of the 6-hectare property. A former stable is now a refuge for 4 people, redesigned with great care and attention to detail. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.
