On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . 1 Santon Cottages is a beautiful house situated in the North West Lake District. It is very close to Scafell Pike- the highest peak in England, Wastwater lake- the deepest in England and the coast is a 10 minute drive. The house has breath taking views over the fells and is well equipped with all you will need including a log burner, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Free wifi included. Pets are very welcome and there is a private fully secure garden. Extra Charge of £30 per stay.

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. This cosy apartment cottage has wow views from the mountains down to the sea.. Great beds, ample kitchen with dishwasher and large walk in shower in the en suite. Sat TV and up to 10mbs wi fi access inside and outside. Guests garden to sit and take in the views and a BBQ facility. Situated on a Stud Farm for Pure Spanish Horses the setting is idyllic and quality throughout. We hire paddle boards and floatation jackets to guests.

The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

A delightful and quiet cottage, packed with everything you need to enjoy the Lake District! Greengage Cottage sleeps four people with both bedrooms on the same floor, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Ample parking is available just 3 metres away and Greengage Cottage has access to the walled garden just opposite which is a relaxing sun trap.
