Great place. Easy communication

A wonderful spot to explore such a beautiful area. Papingo, whilst isolated, is absolutely well worth the effort. We absolutely loved the town. Many restaurants, cafes and gorgeous gift shops, with friendly people. The house was good for us, however suited to a couple or family, not 2 separate couples due to bed set up. The kitchen is small, 2 hot plates, fridge/freezer. All we needed but would be a bit harder for a long period of time probably. Wonderful outside area - we just loved our stay here.

What an amazing property. The space is so well thought out. We had a fantastic time sitting on the balcony having lunch and just watching the lake as the day went on. From the low level clouds to the changing colours of the magnificent mountains in front of us. We did not expect the loft to be so incredibly well appointed. A super strong recommendation to anyone wanting a place to stay in Kastoria.

Santiago is an amazing person, he was very communicative and friendly, welcomed us and gave us tips to go around. Santiago was super available and there for his hosts, everytime I asked about something about the house or in general he always was available. There have been many written about the place and hospitality of the hosts and there is nothing more to agree with other guests. We have no reproach. Unfortunately, however, we were not advised of the problematic heating of the property in the colder months. Which resulted in a change in our reservation after the first night, which then made our plans difficult. However, everything was resolved without a problem and the money was refunded in full. Hopefully we can visit the place in the summer months, or the host will add a fireplace in the meantime 🙂

Papingo is a beautiful little town and the unit was a perfect base for exploring the area. It was very comfortable for our family of 7. The WiFi was amazing (best so far in our travels in Greece). The cleaner was very helpful with our bags of laundry for a small additional charge. Although there is no air conditioning this unit stayed quite cool during the day and had screens so we could enjoy the lovely cool mountains air in the evenings. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. You will need your own car to explore the area and make sure you bring all the supplies and food you will need because Papingo does not have a proper store if you need general supplies.
