A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The Walensee/Sarganserland vacation region offers countless opportunities to be active, but also for rest and relaxation.

The 1 bedroom apartment with a sofabed in the lounge is suitable for 2 adults & 2 young children or 3 adults. There are spectacular views of the Alps (Churfirsten) from all windows. Wifi is available and the surrounding area is child-friendly. The Obertoggenburg region is excellent for hiking holidays with Klangweg, various cable cars (e.g. Säntis / Chäserugg). In the winter, various ski resorts entice, some of which have family-friendly offers. The upper apartment is occupied by our junior.

The Wolzenalp has plenty to offer in summer and winter. Various lifts take you to the ski slopes in winter. The chairlift gives you convenient access to our sports and recreation area – especially in summer. The popular hiking trail "Thurweg" runs right behind the chalet.

Time out at the Churfirsten

Our cozy studio is located in Walenstadtberg at 850 m directly below the Churfirsten, which makes it an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, etc. Lake Walen, which is a ten-minute drive away at the foot of the mountain, offers cool refreshment. You can end the day comfortably by the fire pit and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. There is a regular bus service to Walenstadtberg.

Our beautiful accommodation is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by meadows with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area, you can enjoy the tranquility. However, there are also an incredible number of sights and things to do in the area. We're here to help you find something suitable. The studio is wheelchair accessible and has no steps.
