If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle for a few days, Veslestua is highly recommended. There is a road to the cabin, which is without water and electricity. In winter, you can put on your skis right outside and walk 200 meters to groomed ski trails that lead into the forest and across the marshes. The mountain feeling doesn't get any better, 50 minutes from Oslo. Bring your whole family or colleagues to this great farm. Here you have a large apartment on the 2nd floor of the house all to yourselves. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, large living room and open plan kitchen, bathroom and exit to large south facing private porch. Here there is room for both fun and recreation. You live in a rural area, but at the same time centrally. A short drive from the apartment takes you to Eidsvoll station. From here there are 3/4 trains per hour that take you to Oslo Airport in 9 min. and to Oslo S in 34 min.

There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.
