Great host! Extremely friendly and responsive in the chat whenever questions needed to be answered. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay !

We had a great stay at Akira’s place. We were a group of 8 people with 5 adults and 3 kids (10 and under). The house comfortably fit all of us and felt like home — Akira had everything we needed. Loved the residential neighbourhood- gave you a sense of how most people lived - and a restful reprieve after visiting the hustle and bustle of the major city areas. I would mention that if you have a large taxi/transport, it may be difficult to get right to the house as the roadways are very narrow (typical for residential areas). Two laundry places and vending machines right by the house (so convenient)! Walkable to train stations. Look forward to coming back!

It was such a beautiful home, honestly we had a very different view of it just because we live in the US our perspective of the home was different but once we arrived seeing the architecture and the way the house is built was so wonderful and smart. Everyone loved the house! We felt so comfortable especially the terrace was so peaceful. We loved being able to have two bathrooms as well as having a washer/dryer in one! We were actually so surprised and having little kids with us it was a necessity. We loved how close it was to Uniqlo and other restaurants and stores ESPECIALLY the train station it was such a lifesaver when it came to taking all our luggage’s to head to the airport. Overall we fell in love with Mari’s place and decided to stay at her place when we visit next time! Mari and her team were so responsive and helpful sending guides to places to visit. Thank you so much!

横浜でのライブのために滞在しました。 新横浜駅、友人と会う横浜駅、どちらもアクセスが良く、駅も近くて助かりました。 そして一番嬉しかったのはペットOKだった点です！しかも大型犬とインコどちらも！おかげで普段と同じ触れ合いが出来、彼らも頑張ってお留守番していてくれました。 徒歩1分の公園があり、日中だけでなく夜も雰囲気、治安も良かったためライブから帰った深夜でもワンコを散歩出来てありがたかったです。 大型犬のケージが室内に入れられるか心配でしたが、問題なく搬入出来る玄関の幅で､、、！これは、もう運命ですね(笑) また機会があればぜひペットたちと滞在したいです。 チェックイン時間の柔軟なご対応も助かりました。 お世話になり、ありがとうございました。

What a delightful stay we had at Yuri’s place. It was wonderfully spacious for our family of 5, very clean, comfortable and tucked in a charming neighborhood. A short walk to the Sendagi station as well as the bus meant we travelled easily throughout the city. We particularly enjoyed riding the bikes through Yanaka. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay, Yuri!

It was a very cozy home for a large group. We were 7 men and we all felt very comfortable. We also enjoyed the restaurant/bar downstairs which is owned by the host. Would recommend any large groups looking for a nice home near Shibuya to book here

We stayed at Yin and Wei's place for 3 months at the start of 2025. We found it an excellent place to base ourselves as there was plenty of space, in a quiet neighbourhood and close to Akabane station, which is really well connected. We were very comfortable. There are probably some things that could be updated about the house but Yin was very accommodating and helpful. They even organised a new toaster oven for us, replaced the shower head and polished the dining table. We are a family of four and even had another family of four stay with us for a week and we were still comfortable. The only thing lacking is a couch and the stairs might be a bit steep for someone that isn't very mobile. We would happily stay again.

We really liked the stay in Warabi. The location is great, really close to 7/11 and Warabi station both in a 5 min walking time. The house itself was clean and well furnished.

チェックアウト時間の柔軟な対応や、友人の誕生日ケーキの受け取りを急遽お願いしてしまったのですが、快く引き受けて頂いたお陰で楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。空間がとても可愛く、清潔感があり快適に過ごせました。また、コンビニやスーパーも宿泊地から近かったので食材などの買い出しもしやすかったです。機会があれば是非またお願いしたいと思います。

nous avons passé un très bon temps dans cet appartement. propre, bien équipé. A distance de marche des transport en commun, situé devant un 7eleven, nous avons aimé !

Thank you so much, Chifumi! Your place was excellent. Just a word to the wise, I was not used to the Japanese washer and dryer machine and expected my clothes to be fully dried at the end of the cycle and now I have to go to a laundry mat because I think it is expected to air dry clothes. So if you are only staying for one night and don’t have time to air dry your clothing I wouldn’t wash it! Place was really nice otherwise!

10 min walk from Honancho station and very convenient to get to. Place has everything you need for a great stay!

We had a wonderful one week stay at Tsubasa’s lovely home. The neighborhood had all the conveniences, the apartment had everything we needed and the apartment is cute and clean. It’s in a quiet residential area with lots of grocery stores and food options nearby, and we liked having the kitchen and two spacious bedrooms upstairs. It was fun to not be in a touristy area but to see how locals live. The home is comfortable and the shower is great. It was a little chilly at first in the main living area but when we mentioned it (thought we might be doing the heat wrong) Tsubasa ordered us a space heater and it arrived that day. Temperature was perfect after that. This was a wonderful home base to explore around Tokyo. Thank you Tsubasa!

It was great staying at Tadashi’s place. Was very responsive to my queries and helpful. Recommend others to stay there if you are looking for a place away from hustle and bustle of Tokyo central. Walking distance to 2 train stations and plenty of amenities nearby. Also luggage forwarding services are available at the nearby Lawson mart.

The location of the place is awesome - very near the Nakano train station, convenience stores, Broadway and restaurants. Instructions for checking in is clear. Room is clean. Washer and drier available!

This was a lovely place to stay, with multiple stations in walking distance and a nice quiet neighbourhood. But most of all our host was responsive, attentive and kind and helped us numerous times with our various needs as a large group. Thank you!

We were a party of 3 looking for an apartment with 2 separate bathrooms (toilets) which is hard to find when you only need 2 bedrooms. We needed privacy but still have a place to be together. This fit the bill exactly. The apartment is a detached house with 3 floors, in a quiet area a few minutes walk from Ikeburu station . The top and bottom floors have bedrooms and toilets while the middle floor has the kitchen, living/ dining area, shower and laundry. The stairs are steep, so that might be a problem for some people. The kitchen has all the basics, but we only needed it for our morning coffee, as there are lots of places to buy food and eat in the area. Unfortunately, there were only 2 coffee cups when we were there, which I understand has been remedied. The couches in the living/dining area were basic but not super comfy. All in all, it made a good base from which to see Tokyo. I would recommend this apartment to people who want both privacy and a communal area.

Great location and funky flat. Close to tube station and on a buzzy street that’s not noisy when you’ve closed the door. Cosy and homely you can cook some bits and bobs if you need or pop out and get something local Billy even offered to come over and show me how to work the washing machine!

6 of us stayed here for a week. Very peaceful neighbourhood with a familymart around the corner. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby along with a metro station a 15min walk away. Beds were super comfortable. Kim was an amazing host who was always flexible and responsive whenever we messaged. I would stay here again!!

Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It’s our number one favorite country to come back again and again Thank you Yukari for allowing us to stay at your place and for being so nice to us

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit super Lage. Man ist schnell an der Ikebukuro Station, es gibt einige nah gelegene Combinis und einen Donki. Die Zimmer haben eine gute Größe, die Betten sind bequem. Es könnte etwas sauberer sein, wir haben einige Haare gefunden und der Boden war teils staubig. Bad und Toilette waren sauber. Wir waren im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden und bei einem kleinen Problem wurde uns noch am selben Abend geholfen.

Great home in a lovely, friendly neighborhood. The beds were a little uncomfortable but putting an extra comforter on top of the mattress helped. It has great amenities.

Great stay at Shigeru’s! In a quiet residential neighbourhood, but a close walk to the train that can get you to all major hubs. A nice and simple accommodation, great for a solo traveler with all basic necessities. The distance is a bit of a further commute to areas like Asakusa & Ginza, but in close proximity to other great hubs like Setagaya City. Shigeru really was the best, he accommodated a late check in, met me at the station and helped carry my heavy luggage. He also provided me with recommendations in the area and helped me so much when I was struggling to figure out how to commute to Narita Airport when I left. Would recommend this place to anyone!
