Vacation rentals with lake access in Nepal

Thanu’s place is perfect to feel at home. The rooms are cosy & clean , there is always hot water, the view from the terrace on the mountains is fantastic, the location in a quiet Street nearby Lakeside is perfect . Thanu’s brother Laxman was a perfect host, he helped us with the organisaton of trips. The paragliding & daytrip in the mountains where so beautiful ! I would certainly book again. Highly reccommended!

This Airbnb is the top floor of The Kings Hotel on 16th Street in Pokhara. The hosts seem new to Airbnb as is most of Nepal, and perhaps didn’t know he selected ‘reach out to host’ as the check in option. Just clarify address and check-in instructions when you book or before you get to Pokhara. The room was an awesome apartment. We stayed in a fancy hotel as well on this trip and this was better value for money. There is room service and competent staff at the counter. It is right in the middle of the Few section of Pokhara :)

L’appartement que nous avons eu était au 5e étage ce qui nous offrait une magnifique vu sur les montagnes. Tous les équipements étaient conformes à la description. Nous sommes restés 10 jours, la cuisine était fonctionnelle. Il y a également des fontaines à eau minéral sur le palier ce qui est un vrai plus. Le ménage est réalisé une fois par semaine et on nous a prévenu par message de l’horaire. Attention en revanche car il n’y a pas d’ascenseur donc peut être difficile d’accès pour des personnes à mobilités réduites.

Whether you're looking for short-term or long-term, Ram's apts. at 8848 are a great choice. Everything in the apt. was clean, new, and in good working order, and it's well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Tons of hot water, day or night, and great shower pressure. Great location in Lakeside, but a bit away from the main touristy areas. Still an easy walk to the lake, but far enough away for a bit of peace and quiet. Easy access to some nice hikes and nature as well. For nomads like me, it's also a 5-minute walk to a co-working space, though I worked from the apt. most days. Super fast Wi-Fi too. And there's even a backup generator for when the power goes out (which is about once a week in Nepal). But the Wi-Fi here stays on! Ram is a kind and gracious host and will happily accommodate your every need. Would definitely come back :)

Amazing experience!!! First time finding host in Nepal and I think it will be one of my best experiences, it’s so worth what we paid for! A few minutes walk from the lakeside, many restaurants, very convenient location, you got everything you need in the house. Thanks for all the help from the host and his lovely family, he helped us a lot with every problem we had, would recommend everyone to stay and I would definitely comeback again.

We had a wonderful time at Asok‘s place. You can walk to the main lakeside area in 5 minutes and the restaurants, bars and cafes are also near by. The apartment is big and spacey. We would definitely come here again.

Mix culture home is the beat place to stay 4 km away from the Lakeside by local bus it takes 25min and by walk around 1 hr. Apartments and the whole building is designed with mix Newari and Tibetan culture situated in nature isolated area where no other building with full of natural surrounded lots of space to relax in the garden and own vegi garden where every morning I picked the vegetables to cook . Pure spring water from the mountain was very tasty. Every day seeing the sunset mesmorising from the room makes me calm and totally relax I became completely relaxed staying in this apartment with fully equipped and host is very helpful for all i needed he provide a free pick up from the bus and airport that was cool and felt comfortable to get the place. Had a wonderful stay and promising to back for long stay next year again.

I had a wonderful stay in this property, it's very near to lakeside and one can find every essential within a range of 100 meter. Host and her family behaviour was very nice. I found pokhara a little warm hill station so AC is required in peak summer season.
