Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is an additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler", holds four.

I spent over two years looking for the best place to have an Airbnb in the area, and this was the winning spot! It is less than 20 minutes from the airport. You are in a quiet, peaceful place with over 40 acres of trees and wildlife around. The home is on Murphy Dome which is the best point to see the lights and you can easily see the lights from the comfort of this comfy vacation home. Hunting, fishing, hiking...all walking distance! My car is available for rent as well if you need transport.

Alaskan Forest Retreat

Beautiful and spacious daylight basement unit in the hills in west Fairbanks. Just a short 10 minute drive from the airport, but it feels like you're away from it all. This unit is located in the downstairs of our home, so you may hear the occasional pitter patter of tiny feet upstairs. We recommend AWD vehicle for winter use.
