A beautiful period property in extensive grounds on the edge of town. We felt completely at home and enjoyed the space and the facilities. We particularly appreciated having a full working kitchen which made catering for ourselves really easy.

Peak View Retreat

We stayed for a full week and used the house as a base to explore Nelson and surrounds, Havelock (where we took a boat into the Sounds and Blenheim / wineries. After a day exploring, and some days when we didn’t leave the house, we lapped up the views and quiet time - card games, reading, cooking, drinking great NZ wine. The sauna and wood fired hot tub was amazing especially when the skies were clear. The views are spectacular! The drive up the hill is as described (terrifying in the wild wind and rain we had!). Make sure you book a 4WD or an all wheel drive as NZ weather is famously unpredictable. Great hosts who thought of all the small touches and were super responsive.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Die Checkin/out- Zeiten sind super. Es war sehr sauber und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Straßen mit Restaurants/Cafes und Museum sind schnell erreichbar. Es gibt sogar eine kleine Terrasse.

Perfect location for us close to a friend’s house on the waterfront. Easy walk to three restaurants and we used the bikes supplied to bike to Tahunanui Beach. Great balcony but a little noisy at times which can expected for the waterfront location beside the road. We would certainly stay again.

An absolutely beautiful home which we felt very comfortable in as soon as we walked in. Stunning art work on the walls, clean and comfy beds, a sweet private garden with ocean views, what more could you ask for! The home had plentiful space for the 4 of us, including a study area which my partner was able to work in quietly. If we ever came back to Nelson I would definitely hope to stay here again. We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described, and perfect! The beds were super comfortable, and we would definitely stay here again. This place had everything as listed - place was even more spacious and inviting than the photos show! Super friendly and responsive host, spotless place with plenty of room for a group booking. Went down with my family for a wedding and would stay again in a heart beat!! The morning views with your coffee in hand were a highlight!

Anna’s home was lovely - location was great, less than a 5min drive to the city. The deck and kitchen had amazing views and we played cards every night until the sun went down. Pixie was super friendly and would always be there in the morning to say hello! Thanks Anna!
