Great location, right next to the water. House looked even better than photos, it was perfect for our large group of 10.

Such a beautiful family home and the layout and amenities were absolutely perfect for our stay - the downstairs area is self contained and so was ideal to have a stray grandpa join the family fun for a couple of days. The heated pool was a huge winner with the kids. Lauren has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. The location is great too - a short walk into town; or a short walk through a bush trail at the rear of the property to Wreck Beach. We will be back 🙌🏼

We absolutely loved staying at Armando's place and felt very much at home! Each room met our needs perfectly, and the gardens were so lovely! It was great to see the many accessible features that were very tastefully done also. a great place to stay!

What a gorgeous home to stay at .. All the comforts within were perfect.. The house was immaculate & the amazing fragrance when you walked into the home .. I have stayed at quite a few BNB’s over the time & found Claudia’s property to be one of the best .. Claudia was so accommodating & lovely to communicate with .. The area surrounding the property was very peaceful & to sit out in the back yard was very tranquil .. We live in the area and just needed a place to crash while we had some work done at home. The house is beautiful and airy and instructions were crystal clear. We loved having a little staycation in the best suburb in Newy!

A cozy & beautiful house with a well equipped kitchen. Location is good & walkable to the restaurants & groceries shops. We really enjoyed our short stay.

Great stay recently in Shoal Bay. The place is perfectly located near all the local shops & restaurants. Easy to get around to other nearby beaches as well. Robyn was a fantastic host, really responsive & sent us suggestions of things to do in the area. We also left something behind & Robyn was so great at getting it back to us. Would highly recommend.

Very functional, albeit small 2-bedroom apartment. The pool was great - we were the only ones that seemed to swim while we were there! The little balcony is a nice place to have a dinner or wine. It did hold the heat quite a bit - assume it would be quite warm in summer. The suburb is very hilly like the name suggests - so be mindful of that from a mobility perspective. Great area - lots of cafes around 10 mins walk away.

Jonathan’s place is in an unbeatable location—right on the beach and just a short walk to shops, cafes, Coles, and the heart of town. He was incredibly accommodating to our family, and we really appreciated his great local cafe recommendations. The sound of the ocean was the perfect backdrop throughout our stay. Thank you, Jonathan, for making our visit such a pleasure!

Great apartment in the perfect location to explore The Entrance. Access to jacuzzi was great and we had everything we needed. Would be happy to stay again.

A spacious and comfortable self-contained flat, overlooking the forest and the ocean. We had an excellent time over four weeks. Communication with a most hospitable owner was perfect. We highly recommend, and hope to be back some day!

This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

This was a perfect location and reasonably priced for our group as wedding guests in the Hunter Valley. Easy to access and very clear instructions. Clean space with necessary amenities.

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Nice place by the sea, though the ocean view was limited. Super close to shops and everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with and replied quickly. Overall, a great stay!

Thanks so much Mark & Leah for a wonderful stay. The view from this appartment is just stunning and the appartment itself was spacious, spotless and so comfortable for our stay. Bed was super comfy too and despite being right on the front the place was very soundproofed. Mark was very responsive when we were getting in and on the lead up to our stay. Thanks!

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂
