夏の利用者が多いそうですが私達は真冬に利用しました。するとめったに降らない大雪が降りめったに見れない雪景色を堪能できました。すごく寒かったけれど薪ストーブで炎を眺め囲炉裏で鉄板焼をやったり鍋をやったりして楽しみました。スーパーは一番近くで車で16分ほどなので買い物してから宿に来たほうがいいです。車で20分くらいの武芸川温泉もとてもよかったです。ピザ窯を使用して雪の中ピザやパンを焼いて食べました。幸い雪は止んだのでその場で焼いて食べるのに問題はありまさんでした。風がなかったからかそこまで寒さは感じませんでした。子供は珍しい雪にはしゃいでおりました。（高校生）夏は夏で素晴らしいところだと思います！

Takashi's place was absolutely amazing, and so is he. It was a great pleasure meeting him and sleeping in his beautiful historic building in the middle of Narai-Juku. It felt really special. Takashi is a wonderful host: very friendly and responsive! I can definitely recommend staying at his place.

1泊させて頂きました。 ロケーションがとても良く 静かで、プライベート空間としても秀でてとてもリラックス出来ました。 駐車場は、四駆でしたが傾斜が急でコツが掴めず登れませんでしたので、近隣にあるスペースへ停めた方が良いです。 アメニティなども充実していて 荷物を減らす事が出来ました。 焚き火は使いませんでしたが 次回連泊する際に使用したいと思います。 徒歩圏内には何も無いので 立ち寄る前にスーパーやローソンで食材を購入する事をおすすめします。

At first glance, the house looks dated. It is a traditional, rural Japanese home that reminds me of my grandparents' house. While the furnishing and facilities are slightly old, it is still a comfortable house nonetheless. The toilet is modern and new so that is a plus. The house is also conveniently located along the main road with a couple of food options like KFC, Sukiya and Family Mart within walking distance.

It is a very nice house. It is a bit noisy due to the nearly road and train tracks during the day, but it wasn’t too bad during the night. Definitely rent a car if you want to stay here, or get taxis to go into town, since the station is a good walk away. Once you get a car, accessing the mountains is a breeze and traffic is quite low. The host was amazing. She picked us up from the train station on arrival and dropped us off at the train station when we left. She also brought over some more bedding during our stay. I highly recommend this place, just be aware that if you are a light sleeper, you might not enjoy staying here. Overall it was in the right location to get a taxi into Inuyama to interact with the locals, and then drive around in the mountains.

We, my wife and I, rented the place for a month, so plenty of room for just the 2 of us. This reasonably spacious apartment was very clean and comfortable and an easy walk to train station, grocery and convenient stores. Also, well stocked with basic toiletries and kitchen and cleaning supplies. Quiet building and safe neighborhood too.

Mountain Boy was a great host. Responded directly to help us with any questions we had. We have enjoyed the accommodation a lot.

Very nice host, incredibly accommodating. The location was also very convenient, and there were no surprises.
