You have easy and quick access to the center via metro, and at the same time the opportunity to return to a quiet and relaxing environment. Evangelia is a great host, welcoming, responsive and accommodating. We were able to leave our suitcase earlier than expected to walk around the city while waiting for the accommodation to be cleaned. The instructions left were clear, and the accommodation was spotless and very functional. We loved the location, close to a very friendly square and all the shops (small markets, restaurants, bars, etc.) We highly recommend Evangelia and thank her for everything! The aircon was a treat in the summer heat, and the view over the park and Lycabettus Hill was a lovely bonus. Akis was hands down one of the most responsive, friendly, and thoughtful hosts I’ve ever come across. You can really tell he cares about making people feel welcome, and his local restaurant recommendation was absolutely spot on. Arrived in evening & found entrance was at far end of road which was uphill. Taxis were on strike day we arrived after a 45 minute walk 😢. We should’ve caught the Metro. Keyless entry system worked fine. Wi-Fi worked well. Tried local restaurant the 1st evening, recommended & cheap. Apartment had all amenities except a microwave which we didn’t need. Spotlessly clean & & photos are accurate. Nice complimentary bottle of wine & water on arrival. Jacuzzi on patio was lovely. Text communication with Panagiotis was excellent & he messaged several times to ensure we were OK. Used local metro at bottom of hill which is great to get into central Athens & only €1.20 a journey. Uber is about €7. Breakfast in morning on back patio is lovely as sun rises with distant view of Acropolis. Nice to sit on front balcony at end of day watching sun set. Panagiotis was so helpful with any text communication. Would highly recommend.
