Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. This year, it may be especially attractive to be able to come to Bjørklund farm for Norgesferie.

It´s a 3 minute walk to our small city center with grocery stores, sports shop, a liquor store, pharmacy, hair dressers and a gas station.

Bus stop right down the street with bus that runs every 30 minutes to the city center. Ankenes alpine slope is a few streets away from the apartment as well as a light trail and hiking trails. This beautiful home has an idyllic location in scenic Skjomen, just 5 minutes from Skjomen Golf Park. From the window you can enjoy the view of Reinnesfjellet, a popular place for mountain biking, and Norway's mainland glacier Frostisen. Skjomen is conveniently located, only 25.5 km from Narvik (30 min drive), and Evenes Airport is 84.5 km away (1 h 16 min by car). The nearest store, Coop Extra Ankenes, is 18.6 km away and can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
