Our family of 8 spent a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... we were deeply attracted to the house as soon as we entered... we arrived a little late... but the owner still received us very warmly... and reminded us to be careful on the way... because it snowed at Yamanakako that day... our family's first experience with snow was here... we were really mesmerized by the beautiful snowy scenery... although we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, we still got a veryBeautiful snowy scenery... all the internet-famous check-in spots near Lake Yamanakako are very close... but this time we didn't have the chance to see the beautiful Mt. Fuji... I hope to have the chance to come to this house again in the future... and then enjoy the different scenery of Mt. Fuji... I highly recommend everyone to stay in this cozy and comfortable homestay... there will be a next time only if there is regret...

We stayed with 4 adults and 3 dogs. The interior was very clean and it was very comfortable to spend time with the dogs in the garden. It was also very helpful that you always responded quickly to this question. This was our first trip with the dogs, and we were very satisfied and would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay. The resort is wonderful. Do keep in mind that although it’s a Glamping resort it and does have a fantastic view of Mt Fuji you are not glamping in the woods. You are actually really in the town of Kawaguichiko, which is fantastic because there’s tons of amenities like taxis and buses and restaurants and everything is walking distance.

Ms Mali was very welcoming, she drove us to the supermarket nearby.We bought it at the supermarket and roasted it ourselves at the barbeque at the house.The house is very close, mari lady borrowed our bicycle and we saw beautiful Mt Fuji for a week around the lake.Other than that, the house is quite beautiful, warm and neatly set up, perfect for a family or friends to live with.Very rich Japanese table games and toys also made us very happy.

Great to meet Stef during the stay in lake Kawaguchi. He can offer pickup service from Lake Kawaguchi to the dome, and also private tour in the local area. He is a nice, talkative and takes full responsibilities to my family during our stay The dome is clean, beautiful and easily accessible by car. Thank you for the hospitality towards my family and look forward to see you in the future

I stayed one night, and it was a lovely place to stay, even as the main accommodation!! It was a spacious and relaxing room, and I was able to play games on the big screen TV! There was a convenience store nearby, so it wasn't very inconvenient! I wanted to use it again!

I used it on a trip with four children.The kitchen, room, bath, and grounds were spacious, and there was also a massage machine, so we had a very relaxing stay. There were also goods to play in the garden and in the room, a table and chairs for children, and a high chair, so the children also enjoyed it very much. We would like to stay again if we are able to travel in the large area again.

We stayed with our family for 4 nights. I was very relaxed and very satisfied. The old house is tastefully and stylishly renovated and beautifully maintained. The scenery surrounded by the mountains was wonderful, the surrounding environment was very good, and I enjoyed the private space. The owner was kind and polite in everything, and I was grateful. It was a little inconvenient that there was no washing machine and no air conditioning on the second floor, but even so, it's 5 stars. I want to go again in a different season.

Our stay here was phenomenal! The local staff were very helpful and responsive, and attended to all our requests. Room and facilities were also very well maintained and clean. Best of all, the view of Mt Fuji was unmatchable! Will definitely be coming back to stay here again next time.

Here's a review you can leave: Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. The house is beautiful and perfectly thought out, with all the comforts you need, including all the appliances available. We particularly enjoyed the heated mattresses, which made our stay even more comfortable. Meeting in the evening around the wood-burning stove and the irori was a real pleasure. Grilling quality meat outside on the barbecue was an amazing experience. And what about the view of the waterfall and flowering trees from the house… it was just amazing. An unforgettable stay, thank you again!🙏🏻

I have 4 adults and 1 kid and I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as shown in the pictures —clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated and spacious! The location was in quiet neighborhood. The check in and check out was smooth as well! Mount Fuji can be viewed from 2nd floor, but the weather was not that good during my stays. If there is a chance, I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

It was a great space that made me want to go again, and I enjoyed it very much. I thought it was a place where I could play with cards, Uno, etc., and it was a place where I could play with less luggage. The location will be out of range in the mountains, so I think it would be better for you to check the route in advance.

Really enjoyed our weekend stay here. The place was very well equipped and spacious. It was very cosy and warm during winter. Jerry was very helpful during check-in making it easy to settle in quickly. Really liked the QR codes they had around the house to help with instructions or provide recommendations around the area. Would definitely come back in the future.

It was very nice to see Mt. Fuji well from the large window! I used it as a family, but the facilities were sufficient, and everyone was very satisfied with the stylish and comfortable space. The garden was very spacious, more comfortable than I expected, and the weather was good, so I was able to play with the kids on the swing and zip line, barbecue early on the bench in the garden for drinks, and had a very relaxing holiday!

The view of Mt. Fuji from the living room is absolutely stunning on the sunny day. The house is nestled in the middle of the woods, and we even spotted deer in the backyard! There’s a small staircase leading up to the first floor, so carrying heavy luggage might take a bit of effort. Just a heads-up: There’s only 1 bathroom in the house.

This has to be the best place I’ve ever stayed in. The house is cosy and full of amenities. The bathroom is huge. There’s a big patio at the back. On the day we checked out 4 deers appeared, what a nice surprise. Lake Yamanakako is walking distance and to drive to Fujikawaguchi is just half an hour. The host was super friendly & helpful. I wished I had booked it longer, definitely want to come back.

It was in a great location, close to tourist destinations such as Izu and Atami, and easy to get to by car. The kitchen and bath were also the latest and clean.
