my stay here was amazing, the apartment very nice and clean is surrounded by nature. I loved this thing. chaminda and his sons are very welcoming and helpful, they gave me several tips. there is also the possibility to rent the scooter with them and they picked up and organized the departure for me at the airport. I could also use the washing machine to do the laundry. I also had the opportunity to stay after the check out time which was very helpful for me. Thanks for your availability🙏🏻.i recommend it:)

Our stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The host was so kind and generous. Harshani even went out of her way to prepare breakfast and lunch for us which was delicious and homely. We felt right at home at the stay. The stay is 4mins walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and the stay looks just like in the pictures -clean. Highly recommend this stay!

The Old Chilli House apartment is an amazing and well designed place. From the moment that I stepped inside, I already felt at home. Everything is beautifully arranged, super clean and attention has been put to detail. Enough space is also given, the apartment even has a walk in closet. I absolutely loved the balcony and the whole vibe of the apartment. It is away from the hustle and bustle. On top, Kris and his family are perfect hosts, and the breakfast was great. Kris is a super friendly, funny and energetic guy, that really cares about his guests! Highly recommended place 😀!

The Apartment is really nice. Especially because it is located directly next to a beautiful beach. As a guest there are also two daybeds at the beach that can be used for free. The apartment has a big terrace with nice views towards the beach, on which we enjoyed our breakfast and playing card games in the evening. The host was also really nice and he provided us with very useful advice for local restaurants, attractions etc. All in all we had a very nice time at this place.

I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment. It is located on the second floor and has a private entrance. The host was very responsive and provided a blender, a computer desk, and even a scooter. The location is convenient—just a 15-minute walk to the nearest beach and 15-20 minutes to a store, cafés, and a small fruit market for locals. Lakshan was always available, and when the water heater broke, it was repaired very quickly. As is common in Sri Lanka, ants may appear, so they need to be dealt with using repellents. I am very satisfied with my stay. The host was truly attentive and always helped me with any questions I had.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks during my hospital internship and was very satisfied with the location, cleanliness and value for money. Chandra and her husband are hospitable, quiet landlords who were always easy to reach. I felt very safe here. This apartment is suitable for short and long stays in Galle. By bus, the city center and Unawatuna can be reached quickly and for the hospital in Karapitiya I took a tuk tuk every day for the equivalent of €1.50. The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk away and perfect for swimming and for surfing beginners. I'd come back.

This incredible home, which is absolutely as described and pictured, delighted us every day! Nishantha and his family are incredibly attentive and responsive, we are very glad to meet them, thank you for your hospitality. We had a beautiful house with a private and well-maintained area, swimming pool, lake view. Separate area for BBQ, in the evening beautiful lighting is turned on, in the form of light bulbs, there was a feeling of some kind of holiday. The fauna in Sri Lanka is generally very rich, and at this villa we saw monitor lizards, a peacock came to visit, there were a lot of chipmunks and beautiful birds. I'm sure you won't regret choosing this place.

Just as advertised and a great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Very clean and spacious. Staff is lovely! If you’re a light sleeper, there are announcements early in the morning close to location over a loud speaker. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

I’m a single woman traveling alone from the U.S. and from the first moment meeting the hosts, I felt like I was part of this beautiful family. I have friends forever here! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The hostess is always eager to cook you a delicious Sri Lankan meal. They put in so much effort to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I need. Excellent all around! Incredible value, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful home, quick access to Hikkaduwa beach. The host has also been my personal tour guide of the area, which has a lot to see and experience. In particular the tsunami of 2004 was quite devastating to this area, and there are many memorials that are heart-opening. This family even rented a car and drove me eight hours to the center of the island where we spent the night together experiencing other sites! Incredible! I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to have a unique, personal experience!

Great stay at Villa Valentina! Communication with Madhura was always friendly and quick. The housekeeper was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Would definitely come back!

Stunning apartment in beautiful Suite Lanka hotel: directly in front of the beach, Suite Lanka as rather small hotel with restaurant and pool, very peaceful atmosphere and great service. We enjoyed it a lot!

We stayed at Sajeewa’s home for three weeks and could not recommend it enough. It’s spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped to cook meals and save money on eating out. The gardens around the house are lush and invite lots of birds for watching in the early mornings. The balcony is such a highlight, it’s serene and peaceful, you could spend hours there chatting, working or simply staring into nature. Sajeewa and his family are so hospitable and very easy to communicate with, they made our stay feel very homely. Local shops are within walking distance and Weligama beach is a 20 minute walk at best. We would definitely stay with Sajeewa again if we’re back in Weligama.

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

At first, Google Maps gave me a hard way, so I wandered around a bit, but I felt better when I saw the place in such a great space. It was a little far from Hikadu and Main Beach, but it was good to go to Tuk Tuk, and it was a place where you could feel the very nice forest path and the beach at the same time. Very friendly family, welcome coconut juice and milk tea, and a bit of snacks we felt Sri Lanka's kindness and kindness again. It was a trip to stop by, so I only stayed one day, but it was a good thing that it was so comfortable and enjoyable.

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
