Spent a wonderful couple of nights in a pristine cottage, surrounded by nature but also very close to everything N. Wales has to offer. Lliwen was an excellent host, proactive and responsive, and felt immediately welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

This was our second stay in Sarnau and we enjoyed our four nights as much as our first visit. The property is just lovely. In a beautiful location. Peaceful but easy to get to places. It’s extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean and with fabulous hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We find it a great location to do lots in the area and this time we visited the coast twice which is less than an hour away. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

Had the best stay, beautiful place Andrew had thought of absolutely everything and more. Everything clean tidy and very comfortable would definately recommend. And to top it all off the hot tub was so relaxing

We stayed with our baby and 3 dogs. Lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed, including high chair and books/toys. Perfect location and beautiful surroundings. Paul was great to chat to and gave good local reccomendations for dog walks, beaches and places to eat. Hot tub was ideal as well!! Would recommend

The cottage is beautiful and set in beautiful surroundings. Although the weather wasn’t that great , we still had a fantastic time and the hot tub was lovely. I would definitely recommend a stay here .

The area surrounding the cottage is absolutely beautiful - especially when viewed from the hot tub with a glass of wine.

Great place to stay for a few nights for a couple and well located for most attractions in north Wales. Just to flag that if you have an EV then you need to contact the owners to use the charger (55p a KW) rather than follow the instructions on the charger.

The cottage is everything you could want. Clean and spacious with all you could need and great with secure off road parking and enclosed large garden, perfect for our dog. Comfortable bed and fabulous shower. Easy 15/20 minute walk down into Bala which has all the amenities you need. We will definitely be staying here again.

What a beautiful place to stay! The cottage has been renovated to an extremely high standard. The quality of everything from the tableware to the bathroom fittings, all excellent. With really thoughtful welcoming touch’s. A truly special place to stay!

This cottage was absolutely lovely, cozy and peaceful. The living spaces were actually even larger than expected, and it was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was bright and nice to cook in, and we enjoyed the wood stove on a chilly evening. The provided parking space worked well, and this was a perfect home base for our day adventures in the area. I do think that having a car was crucial to making the most of staying in the village, but the local pub has food on weekends (only) and the small store had a good supply of items and groceries if needed. We loved staying here!

We stayed here for a belated anniversary getaway and absolutely loved it! The cottage was exactly as described. It felt like a home away from home and the views were stunning. We wanted a break from the city and we got it! It was so peaceful. We loved having the log burner so we could get nice and cosy in the evenings playing board games. The cottage is close to lots of amazing walks, and not too far to drive to others. Belinda is a fantastic host. Before we arrived she sent loads of walk recommendations and clear instructions on how to find the place. There’s a handy booklet in the living room and lots of leaflets on things to do. We stopped to have a chat with Belinda and she’s so lovely. It’s obvious how much care is put into the place. Whilst we were sad to be leaving, we’re so glad we chose to stay here and we’ll definitely come back again. Thank you Belinda!

Great place to stay if you want off grid. Would stay again

Terfyn Cottage was a perfect spot for our stay in Snowdonia. Clean, comfortable and everything provided. Room for 3 normal sized cars on the property, close to the “Park and Ride”, great local pub with good food and some gentle or challenging walks directly from the Cottage depending upon age! Beds were excellent, efficient shower and enough space for 5 people and dog. Despite being beside the road, it was quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend. Great host.

We had an incredible week at Eliza’s cottage with our two dogs. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was a special place. The sunrises were breathtaking, and the night skies were perfect for stargazing — a truly peaceful escape from everyday life. The beautiful cottage was cozy and well-equipped and the large garden was ideal for our dogs, who absolutely loved the space to roam freely. One of the biggest highlights was the endless walking opportunities. Whether straight from the cottage or exploring nearby villages, there was no shortage of scenic routes to enjoy. And the beaches, all within a short drive, were simply stunning — some of the best we’ve visited in the UK. Eliza was a fantastic host—friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, and if you're looking for a peaceful, picturesque getaway, this is the perfect spot.

Gorgeous cosy cottage. Really spacious and in a stunning location. We sat in the garden on the bench and had breakfast with a lush view of snowdon! Everything was very clean and comfy. The local pub does absolutely amazing food which is just walking distance away! Would definitely recommend and revisit.

The cottage is a amazing place with outstanding gorgeous views from the back garden. Tracey was a fantastic host who was extremely helpful towards anything we asked & all her recommendations of places to go where absolutely spot on.

A very quaint place well placed for enjoying days in the nearby mountains. Had everything you needed to be comfortable with a suitably equipped kitchen. A very approachable host who quickly answered any questions we had. Will be looking to return in the near future.

It is a wonderfully clean spotless property that is exactly how it was described. Andy was extremely helpful, responds to emails within 24hrs and nothing was too much trouble. The area is safe and secure with a parking spot right outside. The house is handily placed for visiting Snowdonia National Park and is definitely recommended.

Really great stay in an excellent location for exploring north wales. Bus stop right outside the front door a huge plus!

First impressions were great, spotlessly clean, homely but uncluttered. Appliances and cooking equipment were well thought out and we didn't need anything else. Communication was friendly and helpful. A perfect spot for a quiet, get away from it all holiday with sandy beaches and the coastal path on the doorstep and interesting places to discover just a short drive away. Me and my partner booked a last minute trip here and honestly it was exactly what was needed and more. Such a lovely, cosy, clean and homely cottage and Sam/Michele were such lovely hosts. They provided us with all the necessary information and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. Our stay was really great and the views from the garden were really good! Next time we’re back that way we’ll definitely be staying again. Thank you again for such a lovely trip.
