One of our recent guests described our home perfectly 'Wellness Retreat fused with Country Cottage'. We aim to offer you an experience uniquely authentic: original art, great books to curl up with,a deck overlooking the water. You have our complete upper floor, private staircase and balcony to watch boats, sealions, eagles and, maybe an orca or two! High bank waterfront, sorry no children 6 or under. Be ready to be greeted with lots of doggie love! We have 3 large happy and friendly dogs!

Gives you the home-away-from home vibe. 5 minutes walk to bus route to VI & downtown and outside sensor cameras 5. A family with two kids lives above the unit and a unit beside it. The quiet time is 11pm to 7am.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Clean, cozy and comfortable basement suite with private entrance/self check-in. A 5 minute drive from the Departure Bay ferry terminal. TV w/cable in the lounge, laundry and food prep area including microwave, toaster oven, induction hotplate, rice cooker and mini fridge. Tea/coffee, a few simple breakfast items provided. Traveling with more than 2? A second bedroom in the suite with a double bed will be made available for an extra fee. Approved pets are welcome too!

Old City Quarter Miners Cottage

Private small one bedroom miners cottage in quite downtown neighborhood. Close to many amenities, VIU & hospital. Easy walk to the seawall, shopping and many restaurants. The cottage is set in a lovely garden with seating under the gazeboor under the grape arbor. Both hosts John and Marc are artists and have a small show room on the property that we a happy to open if our guests have a desire to see more of our art. Sorry we are unable to accept same day guests.
