We had our wedding at this location and it was absolutely amazing! All the guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and they weren’t wrong. The location was stunning and Douge was amazingly helpful, kind, accommodating, and responsive. He was there in person to show us around and give us a hand. I can not say enough about how fantastic these hosts are and how beautiful this site is. We easily had 11 people stay on site comfortably, the cabin is stunning, the trailers are lovely and everyone was very happy. Thank you so much Douge and Tracy for the amazing stay and for going above and beyond to help make our wedding day a huge success!

It’s our second time in the Band House, and we fell in love with the place even more. Garth and Jen are super friendly and accommodating. We reached out to inquire about availability and they were kind enough to open the dates for us, since we’ve been there before. The place itself is incredibly peaceful. Our dogs love it, and a morning walk around the property with a coffee in hand is exactly what you need if you want to get away from the stress of the city. We loved seeing Cooper (the dog) again too! What a super chill and friendly dog, even if ours were barking at poor Cooper. The hot tubs are a highlight too! We really want to make our visits more frequent, as I now consider this my happy place away from home. Can’t wait to get married there as well! Ask them about the option if you have the chance to visit.

Wanda was an amazing host with one of the most beautiful and well kept properties we have seen. She was unbelievably accommodating and had the most lovely energy. We really enjoyed how spacious the cottage was, as well as all of the amenities — such as the well stocked kitchen and the thoughtful touches placed throughout the house. The gardens were extremely beautiful and she provided a propane tank for us when we decided to use the grill. We felt very welcome and loved the company of her dog dusty as well 💕 we would absolutely return for a serene getaway again!

We have stayed at many places over the past four months and this was by far the best, especially for a long stay. Very well equipped for cooking, laundry and hanging out. Comfortable and private and in a great location for hikes in the provincial park and into town for a beer, coffee and shopping. Didn’t see a lot of our hosts, but they were pleasant and responsive. Would love to see it in summer when the garden is in full production and the next door farmers’ market is going. Thanks!!!

Leah is the quintessential hostess who exudes the quality of having been home while away from home. Her generous, thoughtful and attentive nature is reflected in everything from the booking process, the attention to accommodation and her care for guests throughout. Hearts content, is just that.. a contented heart. The space is cozy but spacious, comforting, eccentric and equipped with everything one would need to feel right at home. We will return again and again!

This was our third visit at this beautiful cottage! Shannon was very responsive and helpful as always! Neighbors were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our stay at beautiful and quiet Bowser. Thank you, hope to visit in the summer! Cheers

We absolutely loved staying at the farm! Lisa is very welcoming and the animals are irresistible. The yurt was charming and peaceful and the amenities were perfect for our stay. We loved visiting with the donkeys (Stanley & Ollie), goats, and cows (Evangeline & Lulu) while strolling through the farm, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It was as perfect a getaway as we could have hope for. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! It was thoughtfully designed, very comfortable, and had stunning views of the water and mountains. We loved spending time by the fire pit and falling asleep to the sound of rain. The outdoor shower was a unique and refreshing touch. The cabin's location is perfect - private, quiet, and peaceful. It was a very relaxing stay. Coralie and Ben were fantastic hosts—very accommodating and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nature getaway!

Our family had a fantastic 2-night stay at Tania's beautiful lakeside home. The location is truly stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake and a fantastic gravel beach including with a cozy little firepit. The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Tania was a wonderful host – super responsive to our messages and we enjoyed our conversation with her. We also appreciated her discreetness, as she lives in the basement but we didn't even notice she was there. There were just a couple of minor things that could be improved for future guests: the fridge water filter could probably use a change, and unfortunately, the jacuzzi bathtub wasn't working during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing family vacation, thank you so much Tania!

This was a cozy and quiet place to stay. The pictures don't do it justice as it is much cuter in person.

If I could give this place and the host 10 stars I would! Even before check in, it was a positive experience. The property and view alone is worth the price. The beds were comfortable, the host goes above and beyond making sure you have everything you need and if you need any help at all she is there. A very friendly, positive, at home feeling. My mom and I were extremely comfortable staying for our weekend trip away. The wildlife was amazing to see! We loved sitting around the fire next to the ocean. I couldn’t believe how clean the place was, stocked with fresh linens and toilet paper if needed. The heated towel rack was a neat detail. You can tell this place has had a lot of love and care put into it. Tons of places to charge whatever you may need, wood stove was wonderful in the unit. We had all the amenities and utilities needed in order to cook great meals! Even stocked nicely with spices, oils, foil, etc. This is my new fav spot and we will be back many times. Lynette’s place is clean, well equipped, and located right by the water. The suite had everything we needed for our short getaway. It was tidy and comfortable. It was kind of amazing to be so close to the ocean and listen to the waves at night and in the morning. But also great to have a gas fireplace (and heating) to keep us warm!

The Cabin was absolutely beautiful and is in a stunning location - peaceful and quiet and set amongst trees. We were there in winter and we were so cozy and comfortable - Tanya even had the fire going for us when we arrived. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care has gone into making this an easy and relaxing place to stay. The Cabin is very spacious and has multiple spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings, both indoors and out. Tanya was there to greet us and show us around when we arrived, had lots of helpful advice and made us feel really welcome. We were there for two nights and would have loved to stay longer if we could.

The place was maintained neat and clean. No Complaints. Most suitable for 6 members. Watch out on hot water, may not be enough if more than 6 members. Will be good if a microwave was provided. Overall Nice one.

Gorgeous cabin on a stunning lake that was wonderful to swim in even in October! The cabin was very comfortable, extremely well equipped and modern. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This place is so relaxing right at the ocean and it's so great to watch the wildlife an listen to the ocean!!!

Patti & Corrine’s place was exactly what we were looking for. You have a wonderful view of the ocean through the trees. Though there are other houses around you, it felt very private. There cottage is surrounded by trees & open grass to walk around. Waking up & ending the day to the sounds of birds was beautiful. We even saw a fawn on the property. They do have two cats which we only saw once & they were very friendly. The beach is a 2 min walk down a quiet street. The cottage itself is my dream home. It’s simple but homey. We loved the personal decor & book selections about the area & wildlife. We slept with the windows open to let in the cool ocean air. In the mornings I stood in the living room watching the sunrise through the giant window. I could have moved into their cottage if it was allowed. It was perfect. Patti was also wonderful at giving suggestions of things to do & explaining the ins & outs of the cottage. I highly recommend staying here! You won’t regret it!

I had a really lovely stay at Reishi, and it was exactly what I needed. The cabin was super comfortable and very well organized. It was quiet with big incredible old trees to look out at and be with. The little village and beach are nearby / walkable and they are very gracious and helpful hosts. Thanks very much!
