Gîte "La Forestière"

“La Forestière” has previously experienced a lively industrial life. It was in this property that the stove of Saint Lambert was installed, which in 1870 became a match factory. In 1874, it hosted a marble sawmill whose industrial buildings were destroyed in 1931 and the house transformed into a guinguette. In 1970, "La Forestière" became a private property. It is in this peaceful and green setting that the hosts welcome you for a pleasant stay.

This unusual and autonomous cottage (solar panel, rainwater) is a unique place. This place allows the reception of horses in the heart of the woods. Guests can cook with the wood stove. The Nordic bath will allow you an optimal relaxation. With friends, family, couple or alone, this place will make your stay unforgettable. There is no WIFI. Agricultural access road, avoid low vehicles. Parties are forbidden! Access is forbidden to outsiders!

Family-friendly B&B can accommodate a large family or several friends/couples. On the ground floor: - 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each - 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed (max 3 adults) - 1 bathroom with toilet to share with the 3 bedrooms. In common areas: billiards, darts, kicker, board games, books, comics, beautiful terrace with a view. For a total disconnection, the rooms are not equipped with a TV but wifi present.

In the countryside of the village of "Furfooz" (nature reserve 800m away), you will be in a quiet place while being able to easily reach the large cities nearby (Dinant, Ciney, Bouillon, Maredsous...). Lots of things to do nearby for all ages.

You are 7 km from Dinant city center. A great team loft, with a king size bed and a sofa bed and TV with Netflix, full equipped kitchen. You also have free parking space as well as free towels and robes. A hot tub is available year-round with a beautiful view of the Meuse. We also have air conditioning.
