Chapy gite in half-timbered house in Famenne-Ardennes

Welcome to the Gîte du Chapy in Wancennes in the center of the Famenne-Ardennes Geopark, recognized by UNESCO! Beautiful 18th century half-timbered building, typical of the region, carefully restored. From the old building, the timber and the stone walls of the barn are the only survivors. The old materials used did not prevent renovation with all modern techniques (underfloor heating, double flow ventilation, PEB A+. NEW: A charging station is available.

Le gîte est une ancienne étable du 19ème siècle aménagée pour le calme, la convivialité, le contact avec la nature et le confort. Cette maison de vacances est prévue pour 4 à 5 personnes avec terrasse en pavé, jardin, meubles de jardin et parking privatif, ainsi qu'un abri couvert pour poussettes et vélos. Bien qu'amis des ANIMAUX, nous ne les autorisons PAS à l'intérieur du gîte. Nous souhaitons également que ce gîte reste un espace NON-FUMEUR.

15 minutes away from Louvain-La-Neuve and Gembloux, Evelyne and Henri open their fully renovated barn to you. You will appreciate the charm of the particularly spacious and bright living room. The accommodation is equipped with a large fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with a pull-out bed can accommodate up to 4 guests. The accommodation is equipped with a shower room on the ground floor.
