A true farm stay surrounded by other buildings and some farm activity. If unwinding and relaxing is what you need then this is perfect.

Perfect view of the sunsets every night. The amenities and service were above and beyond. Provided a cleaning service half way through our stay without additional charges or fees. It is unquestionably the best value I have had the pleasure of staying at ever. Thank you so much for making our stay in the Wallis Bay Area better than we could have hoped. Thank you to Robin, Irmi and Katharina for making my friends' stay a pleasant one. Unfortunately I broke my leg in Cape Town and couldn't be around during their visit but they said it was marvellous and want to say a big "thank you" to Belinda, the lovely housekeeper, as well.

Kaupu was so helpful, even before we checked in. Her home was spotless and so comfortable. The most comfortable bed I've slept in, other than my own!! A stunning view of the lagoon, right on the esplanade and within walking distance of the raft restaurant. Such lovely little touches all over the home, that we felt quite at home. We will look Kaupu up every time we need a stay in Walvis Bay!

Upon arrival at Onduli's place we were warmly welcomed by Serge at the front gate after which he lead us to the house. Even though the pictures gave a very good impression of what the house is like, we were still completely blown away by how cool it actually is! The house is completely private surrounded by 100 acres of private land filled with all kind of different animals. There are several different small marked hikes you can do around the house on which you can encounter animals at all times. If that was not enough, the house provides you with everything you can think of which allows you to completely relax. Including: - Fully equipped kitchen - A beautiful patio with wood, fire pit, braai and comfortable seating all around - A outside shower It is fair to say that Onduli's place was everything we've hoped for and more. The cottage was a perfect base for us visiting friends in the area! The mall with some nice restaurants is a very short walk away, and the sound of the ocean at night was beautiful! The space was well-decorated and clean, and the beds very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Katja's place is beautiful with the little garden. My kids loved it. Katja was always available when we needed information about the house. There was a lot of space inside the house and a garage to park the car. It has a quiet neighbourhood. We really appreciated being able to stay with Katja.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Shametu @ Sea with four adults and two children. The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kids loved being so close to the beach, and the adults appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. The location was perfect—peaceful but still close enough to Swakopmund for easy day trips. The host was friendly and responsive, making our stay smooth and comfortable. We’d definitely recommend Shametu @ Sea for families or groups looking for a cozy coastal getaway.

Very nice place, morning with a cup of coffee overlooking the ocean was perfect. Water pressure is excellent, hot water is available. Everything's good.

We had a fantastic stay at Jane's cottage. The location was perfect as we were able to leave the car and do everything on foot - shopping, strolls, beach... We loved the vintage look of the house and enjoyed sleeping in very comfortable beds! The place was clean with everything we needed. Thank you ;-)

It’s also perfectly located: close to the dunes, restaurants, and shops, but still in a quiet neighbourhood. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like full Netflix access and a coffee station! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Swakopmund.
