Perfect view of the sunsets every night. The amenities and service were above and beyond. Provided a cleaning service half way through our stay without additional charges or fees. It is unquestionably the best value I have had the pleasure of staying at ever. Thank you so much for making our stay in the Wallis Bay Area better than we could have hoped. Thank you to Robin, Irmi and Katharina for making my friends' stay a pleasant one. Unfortunately I broke my leg in Cape Town and couldn't be around during their visit but they said it was marvellous and want to say a big "thank you" to Belinda, the lovely housekeeper, as well.

Kaupu was so helpful, even before we checked in. Her home was spotless and so comfortable. The most comfortable bed I've slept in, other than my own!! A stunning view of the lagoon, right on the esplanade and within walking distance of the raft restaurant. Such lovely little touches all over the home, that we felt quite at home. We will look Kaupu up every time we need a stay in Walvis Bay!

Upon arrival at Onduli's place we were warmly welcomed by Serge at the front gate after which he lead us to the house. Even though the pictures gave a very good impression of what the house is like, we were still completely blown away by how cool it actually is! The house is completely private surrounded by 100 acres of private land filled with all kind of different animals. There are several different small marked hikes you can do around the house on which you can encounter animals at all times. If that was not enough, the house provides you with everything you can think of which allows you to completely relax. Including: - Fully equipped kitchen - A beautiful patio with wood, fire pit, braai and comfortable seating all around - A outside shower It is fair to say that Onduli's place was everything we've hoped for and more. Alles war genau wie auf den Bildern – stilvoll, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit war absolut makellos, und es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht, um den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön gestaltet und sehr gepflegt. Überall gibt es verschiedene Pflanzen, darunter sogar Zitronenbäume. Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden, was die Anreise sehr bequem macht. Das Einchecken war super unkompliziert und flexibel. Annette selbst ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin – unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer schnell erreichbar, wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Man merkt, dass ihr das Wohl ihrer Gäste am Herzen liegt! Vielen Lieben Dank Anette! 😊

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Shametu @ Sea with four adults and two children. The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kids loved being so close to the beach, and the adults appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. The location was perfect—peaceful but still close enough to Swakopmund for easy day trips. The host was friendly and responsive, making our stay smooth and comfortable. We’d definitely recommend Shametu @ Sea for families or groups looking for a cozy coastal getaway.

Very nice place, morning with a cup of coffee overlooking the ocean was perfect. Water pressure is excellent, hot water is available. Everything's good.

We had a fantastic stay at Jane's cottage. The location was perfect as we were able to leave the car and do everything on foot - shopping, strolls, beach... We loved the vintage look of the house and enjoyed sleeping in very comfortable beds! The place was clean with everything we needed. Thank you ;-)

The kitchen was fully equipped, the fireplace was incredible and we loved the peaceful atmosphere. It’s also perfectly located: close to the dunes, restaurants, and shops, but still in a quiet neighbourhood. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like full Netflix access and a coffee station! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Swakopmund. We would definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay enormously. The manager of the house went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The host, Wilmarize knew we liked special coffees and had the manager purchase a coffee machine for us which we thought was extremely thoughtful. There were only 2 of us for most of the 6 weeks we were there and the house as listed is large and big enough for many more guests. The view is magnificent and we enjoyed our long walks on the beach. I would recommend upgrading the kitchen cabinets. Once again I have to thank Mirna (the manager) who went out of her way to ensure we were happy.
