Vacation rentals with a kayak in Nambucca Valley Council

Beautiful house on the edge of the bush but still close to town. Great for a couple of nights and good with kids. Mobile reception is a bit hit and miss. Deck to the backyard is beautiful and kitchen is well stocked.

We stayed two nights on our way home to Sydney from Gold Coast. The house is so comfy and location of Urunga is very walkable and quaint with supermarkets and restaurants. The board walks through the mangroves are great too. The views and private pier from the house are just the best and we enjoyed fishing and kayaking from the back yard- so beautiful and very peaceful! Would definitely come and stay again.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse! The property is absolutely stunning, set in a great location with peaceful surroundings. The home was impeccably clean, comfortable, and equipped with top-quality appliances. The generous-sized rooms and lovely bed linen made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the friendly visits from the resident frog, possum, and magpies—it added such a charming touch! We’ve already decided to book in again for next year. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to chill out for a few days. We booked two days and extended twice. Great spot. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Yvette’s place exceeded expectations. As a dog friendly home I expected to detect dogginess but there was none. Our doggies didn’t detect it either. The beds and couch (and hammock!)) were all super comfy and inviting. The view was spectacular. Wifi worked well, washing machine great, clothesline big and under cover with pegs provided. For the doggies, there is a fully fenced backyard which kept our two girls very happy and safe. Check in was easy with the keypad. There were clear instructions on everything we needed, and Yvette was flexible with check out time which was greatly appreciated. The overall vibe was relaxed, peaceful and inviting! I recommend both Earthbound Bowra and Wharf St Cafe for brunch!
