Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Nags Head

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The host, Nicki, was wonderful to work with. She was very informative, helpful and quick to respond with any questions that we had. The home and surroundings were beautiful. The house was extremely clean, open and inviting and the views from the property and grounds were absolutely stunning. We will definitely consider future stays with Nicki and even possibly at this home again in the future.

The house is just as listed. Great location and all the amenities that you need. A little cold for the pool but enjoyed the top floor kitchen and living area. Decks made the mornings a great start. A very peaceful location and would book again without any hesitation.

We chose this home because it is dog friendly with a big fenced back yard. It is right across from the ocean. it was our second time staying here and we will probably go back again.

Great space. Loved the heated pool and hot tub. Made some of the chilly weather feel amazing. Place was great and easy access to everything!

Shawn was a good host and answered all my questions very fast and gave us accommodations. The place was very clean, perfect for our family and our dog! We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Great place to stay for a peaceful getaway! Shelli does an excellent job of making you feel right at home! The place was so clean and cozy! It was just a short walk to the beach and she provided us with a wagon, chairs, coolers, paddle boards, boogie boards, and even towels! Everything you need for a vacation! This was the perfect stay for me, my fiancé, and our doggie! She even provided dog bowls and treats! Such a sweet and thoughtful host!

We enjoyed our 5 night stay. Bevin communicates very clearly and quickly. It was nice to have some snacks and water bottles provided as we arrived very late. The hot tub was nice (we may have to get one!). We did not cook while we were there, but did a load of laundry and it was nice to have a few pods provided. We walked a lot, but you do have to cross a busy road to get to the beach. The showers felt small and could use a curved shower rod to make them feel bigger. There is no manual in the unit with instructions, wifi password, etc and so we had to ask several questions, but always got an answer. Loved our time in the outer banks!!

Jeff and Sue's place was perfect for us, 8 adults and my elderly dog. It had plenty of rooms, bathrooms, TVs and even a piano! One of the bedrooms is actually a mother-in-law apartment with a small functional kitchen. The bed and the sheets were so comfy! It was all nice and clean. It is located in a low key, quiet residential neighborhood. Our stay was pleasant. Our hosts were very responsive. It was as described and in the pictures. Yes, I would stay there again. Thanks Jeff and Sue!

Amazing location. About a three minute walk to the beach, and a ten minute walk to the Duck boardwalk/shops. The house was clean and well accommodating. The host was very responsive. Highly recommend! 😊

Proactive, easy to communicate with, easy to get in and as described. We had a group of 7, a 4 month old and 2 dogs with plenty of room. The backyard was great for relaxing in the hammock and the dogs could play. We had 3 vehicles ( 2 SUVs and a truck) that easily fit in the driveway. Convent to shopping. We had a great time thanks to a great house and host

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week at Rona's home - The Salty Dog! Her attention to details and added extras for her guests to enjoy did not go unnoticed. My kids loved playing with the games, crafts and other outdoor activities. My husband and I enjoyed corn hole and an extra room for the kids to play in! The outdoor shower, kayaks right on the canal and hot tub were enjoyed by us all! We will definitely be back! Thank you for being a great host, Rona!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful home! The house was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The location was perfect: close to the beach and local shops, yet peaceful and private. We especially loved relaxing on the deck and taking in the ocean breeze while in the hot tub. Communication with the host was great, smooth and easy from start to finish. It’s clear they put a lot of care into making sure guests have a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing trip!

Ariana’s home was a perfect getaway! Our dog, Bud E, absolutely loved the back yard and how quiet the neighbourhood was. Enough space to get all his puppy zoomies out after a long car ride. The home offered a lot of activities to do in the house and around it. The jacuzzi was the perfect way to end the night after a short walk from the beach. Definitely would recommend to anyone going to the OBX that is bringing their dog.

This was the perfect place for our family of 4 to stay. The host was very kind and helpful with instructions. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were impressed by the accommodations that were included for small children (pack-n-play, high chair, etc)! We would definitely stay here again.

Great home with great spaces, particularly the top floor with open kitchen/living room with connected deck offering ocean sounds and views. It was a quick walk to the beach as well as Avalon Pier and Awful Arthur's. It was a perfect getaway for a collection of fathers and sons!

We had a great stay! The dock views were incredible, house was clean, beds were super comfortable and kitchen was so tidy, organized and had everything we needed. We loved the ice maker and coffee station. It was a pit stop for us on a family road trip so we really enjoyed the serenity and ease of this stay: host were super responsive and views unbeatable! Great restaurants and visiting the Wright brothers monument and that little hike made for a lovely afternoon and counted as an educational day for the kiddos as well!! They also enjoyed the fooseball table. Definitely hit the Wright Brothers Museum - Fascinating!

We had a fantastic stay at Gia’s Airbnb! The place was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. It had all the amenities we needed, making our stay super comfortable. The location was perfect—just a short walk to beach, a charming coffee shop, and a grocery store. Everything was convenient and well thought out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time at Carrie's place. Her home was clean, spacious and loved the gated backyard! The home is in a great location and we look forward to hopefully being able to book her place again!

Absolutely top notch. The master bed was BLISS...jacuzzi tub in the master...my fiancee took a bath every day...I havent seen him take a bath in 5 years..lol. The kitchen had everything you need, beautiful large fridge with a great ice maker... 5 minute walk to the beach, and the back deck with the grill and seating was wonderful... House is plenty big enough for a very large family, and 2 small ones no problem. Fenced yard for pets...no walking them...just let them out the back! Besy stay ever with memories we wont forget! Stay was good. Place was 1st floor of a 2 unit house. An issue came up, but Jenna worked to solve it.

We really enjoyed our stay and we agreed we'd both stay there again. The value was great for the location and amenities. Being able to walk 5 minutes to the beach was terrific. We also liked that it wasn't on the main road so we didn't really have to listen to traffic, yet we were also right around the corner from all the OBX commercial amenities like the grocery store, restaurants, and attractions. The house has it all. It is very spacious, numerous beds for a large family. We were just a couple with a dog and it was great. 1.5 bathrooms. Front and back porches, large yard, a fire pit, and a full kitchen. We really enjoyed Lainie's attention to all the amenities you'd need like all sorts of hotel-style soaps and shampoos, lots of towel's, and all the beach gear you'd need. They had beach chairs, boogie boards, sand castle-making toys, and even a cart to haul all your gear there. We also really liked taking an evening bike ride on the provided bicycles to get an ice cream down the road

we had a lovely stay, was the perfect place to stay with our 2 toddlers.. The kids loved the play area and beach jz down the road at the sound beach, and the sunsets were gorgeous!
