Roisin Dubh Houseboat

The Barge was built in 1999 and was our family home for 10 years in Sallins. It is easy to get to by car, and by train it's only 30 minutes from Dublin city centre. Everything you need is very close, within walking distance. Breakfast cafe, pub, barge trips, fine dining and gastropub restaurants, grocery store, walking trails, and the train station is a four minute walk. Its also a great base for exploring Ireland's Ancient East or day tripping to Dublin. Failte Ireland Approved 2018 - 2022

Accommodating up to 3 guests. It comprises of a single loft mezzanine bedroom which is accessed by a ladder type stairs. Access to the loft bedroom is through the main bedroom downstairs. The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

It is an ideal location for anyone wanting to escape to the country. PLEASE NOTE: We live in the downstairs part of the home. Guests have there own entrance and at no time is the space shared
