Contemporary Cottage in the Wicklow Mountains

LyaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚
The exterior of Foxborough House is depicted, showcasing a spacious two-story structure framed by lush greenery. A manicured lawn leads up to the house, and large windows allow natural light to fill the interior. The building features a combination of stone and timber accents.

The Lodge @ Hushabye Farm

DeanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage is an amazing getaway, a good digital detox in lovely surroundings with Alpacas for company. Paul was the perfect host throughout. We travelled with our pet dog too. The cottage is very well finished with all conveniences. The nearest supermarket is 10mins drive and we cooked in the cottage both nights. We wanted the two nights as a nice relaxing break. We did some hillwalking in the Slieve Bloom Mountains nearby. Highly recommend for a relaxing break away

Quiet Comfortable Country Cottage

John K.Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Overall, a really nice and well presented cottage and grounds, which we thoroughly enjoyed and easy contact with Peter, but Airbnb were terrible (!) with its heavily computerised communication system, e.g. (1) Difficulty in booking, so used my technical consultant; he has used Airbnb, but still took ¾ hour to book (€26) (2) Earlier, I contacted Airbnb by phone, they then e-mailed me to which I replied, but the reply never arrived because, I then learned, one has to use the app - beyond me and (3) A vast number of e-mails before and after the holiday; usually had to be read in case anything new, but largely repetitive and a waste of time - not your time I would say as sending seemed to be computer-generated. (4) All of which would make me hesitate using Airbnb again. I often stay in B & Bs arranged by a simple phone call (with no security checks on host or me!).

We had a great time in Dublin Omar was an excellent host and provided timely and accurate information throughout the stay. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment but the beds were very comfy after a busy day out.

We enjoyed talking with Lucia and Wally. Extremely nice people. The place had the most beautiful views. We finally got to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We recommend fish and chips at the Dinky take out in Court town. Wally suggested and the meal was delicious.

Absolutely loved the home! It looked just like the photos and was well kept. Lived the giant slider that opened to charming back garden and the skylights flooded the home with light. It was lovely! Great location in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood but walkable to town with some great restaurants and easy can ride into Dublin. Highly recommend! I would definitely stay again when next in Ireland.
