Amazing stay in beautiful accommodation and spectacular surroundings. An Nead was a perfect getaway for relaxing in a peaceful and very calm environment. The living space and decor was superb with everything you could possibly need, finished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Brilliant outside porch area and hanging space to store bikes and outdoor kit. We were lucky to have sunshine all day every day during our stay and enjoyed a number of bike rides, walks and a swim. It was a joy to return to An Nead each evening and quietly sit absorbing the wonderful panoramic views as the sun went down. We have taken away some wonderful memories of Skye and having such a perfect place to stay made it truly special. Our hosts were extremely helpful at check in and with local advice on trips/activities and also supportive with a change of start date. Highly recommend and only wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an amazing 3 nights at Cabin Cuil. The house had all the amenities you could need and was perfect for our small family. We arrived much later than we had expected to on our first night and David was kind enough to keep the lights on so that we were able to locate the cabin. We would love to stay at Cabin Cuil again!

We had a wonderful time at Greenfield. The cottage provided a splendid base for our family to explore Skye. It was much more spacious than we were expecting, and we were very comfortable. It was cosy and everything we needed was there. Conveniently located in Portree in a peaceful, quiet road. Thoroughly recommend.

The house was tidy and very clean, it provided everything we needed. We appreciated the stove which heats up the living room quickly. Also the house is in a very sunny position and hearing the river in the back garden was very relaxing. The location is brilliant for exploring Skye and in easy walking distance to the town of Portree. Tracy was a responsive and friendly host. Many thanks for everything!

Myself, husband, 2 kids and their grandparents stayed in this beautiful cottage. We were really impressed with the cleanliness, the gorgeous decor, and the amenities (there was even milk, bread and butter for us!). My oldest daughter also loved the house and felt right at home. Fantastic location as well, just a 8 minute drive to the Stornoway town. We honestly cannot recommend this place enough if you are visiting Lewis. Thank you Mark!

I booked this accommodation for colleagues working in the area so the location was perfect. All communication was excellent with Roger and his place was too providing all the home comforts needed when working away from home, but we already knew this because I've booked with him before :)

Great communication from booking to departure. House is much bigger inside than it looks from outside. Lots of little touches which make it a home from home from fresh flowers on the table complementing luxury air scents to tea and cakes on arrival. Located in a residential area but lots of parking directly outside. Even a gorgeous highland cow on the other side of the garden fence.

Dawn’s cottage is the perfect base to explore the most beautiful parts of the Isle of Skye, and the setting is perfect, we loved recharging after exploring by cozying up to the big picture window looking down on Staffin’s rugged coast. We had an amazing stay at Minimorn, the property was perfect for the 2 of us and our dog (secure garden area was a bonus). Rebecca is a fabulous host and responds to any messages quickly. Dunvegan is a short drive away with lots of options for food but the property has everything you need should you wish to cook. The surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful, there’s a lovely short walk just down the hill which we took our dog along for his morning walks. The guest information booklet provided by Rebecca was super helpful giving restaurant recommendations and information about the property itself. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are ever visiting the Isle of Skye!

This is a beautiful cottage furnished to a very high standard with spectacular views to Valtos beaches and beyond. The cottage is extremely well equipped with everything needed in the kitchen and throughout the property. We got a lovely surprise on opening the fridge to find a lovely welcome basket inside which was much appreciated. We have just spent a very comfortable and most enjoyable week there. There is ample parking beside the cottage for 2 or more cars. I cannot stress enough what a wonderful location this is for Valtos cottage. Although it is quite remote, there is easy access to several beaches less than an hour away and many of the roads are 2 -way. One small point that we weren’t aware of was the cattle grid at the end of the ungated driveway so we just always had to be careful to keep our young spaniel away from it so it wasn’t a problem.

This cottage is a wonderful getaway. It is in a peaceful and quiet area by the water but close enough to Castlebay for restaurants etc. We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and felt right at home. The host was lovely enough to decorate with balloons and “just married” signs, such a nice welcome! Everything was spotless and well stocked. Very comfortable, would definitely stay again :)

Lovely view from back windows of croft and sea. We were visiting family in the area but it is a great place to stay and come back to after exploring around the island. Julia was very helpful when our ferry was delayed.

A wonderful house in an spectacular location. It is remote, quiet and private located in a wonderful surrounding, yet good to reach and a good origin to explore Lewis and Harris. We loved the view onto the sea through the panorama window. The house was absolutely clean and very well equipped. Everything was fine, including wifi. We hopefully will stay at the Happy Bishop again pretty soon. Thanks!

We stayed here at the midway point on our two-week adventure through Scotland and having such walkable access to Portree, a free parking spot, and access to laundry was fantastic! Everything was clean and Alessandro was very kind and responsive!

We had a great few days at Jason’s fab place. The beds were very comfy, it was nice and warm, the amenities are great - especially the dishwasher! Its was a Locke tough to have done shortbreads and a bottle of Sauvignon waiting for us on arrival! The Ferry Inn Isle of Harris Brewing Company was great for food and giifts. The owners were very friendly people who were happy with us turning up quite close to kitchen closing time as long as we pre-ordered - the langoustines were divine! Thank you Jason!
