Bright and spacious private en-suite Falmouth

ElisabethRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I stayed here whilst visiting family locally. The room and ensuite were immaculately clean very comfortable and nicely furnished. The shower was huge and worked well. There was the added bonus of a microwave minifridge plates bowls and utensils giving the flex to eat out or grab food in. Wifi worked well. All very welcome as I stayed on my own. Amelia was very welcoming and kind when I needed help with a medical issue. The room was superb value compared to local hotels. I also used the train from penmere making falmouth town and truro easy to get to and taxis were cheap easy and friendly. Highly recommend.

A lovely place to stay with wonderful views over the harbour. Well equipped for nights in if you haven’t been tempted by the vast array of local eateries.

The Tiny House.

JillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Tiny House (actually called Lavender's Blue on the house name plate) is a cosy, well-equipped, two-storey apartment built onto the side of Susan's home. It is in a quiet residential area about 5 minutes from Penmere station and similar distance to local bus-stops. It is a 10 minute walk to town and beaches, all downhill. Longer coming back up hill or get a bus; no. 67 was a good one for Swanpool beach and the town. The apartment is finished to a very high spec with bespoke oak wood work surfaces and a double Belfast sink. The kitchen had everything you might need including tea, coffee and milk, which was appreciated. In case you need it, there was no freezer or freezer compartment in fridge. The bathroom had a lovely waterfall shower and cruelty-free toiletries (big tick). Some water did spill onto the floor, however, as there is no shower door. The bed was very comfy. We loved our stay here and would thoroughly recommend staying here when visiting Falmouth.

Upper Tresulian

If you don't mind steep slopes and steps, this property is very hard to beat. The accommodation had everything that one expects and was really excellent. The view from the property is IMPOSSIBLE to beat; it is just perfect; we woke up every morning to views right across the bay with all the boats and working ships. Brilliant!

Contemporary cottage in charming creekside village

PaulineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lovely spacious, warm, clean tasteful house in a small Cornish village. Lots of extras provided and a real home from home. The village has a bus service, a pub, a cafe and shops selling local meat, veg and fish. The small store is open Sundays. Supermarkets are a short drive away. A great location to explore mid Cornwall with the rugged beauty of the Roseland, the vibrancy and beaches of Falmouth, and the lush vegetation of the Helford with gardens to visit all within easy reach. Mylor Harbour is a water sports centre and there are local walks from the village including a lovely gently stroll down the creek. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Flo’s place! It was so close to the high street, with some really nice restaurants and bakeries nearby and with a great view. The flat had all the amenities we needed and Flo even left us some treats on arrival!
