Chalet Bärenegg is wonderfully embedded in the landscape of the Bernese lakes and mountains. Inside it is small with little storage space, but it has pretty niches to linger outside: two seats with a grill, outdoor sauna and for the little ones a lawn, sandbox and slide. Great location for skiing (only 20 min to the new Grindelwald Ski Terminal).

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. In the area there are beautiful hiking trails and attractions such as the Ballenberg. You can shop in the village which is about 2,5 km away. The house has 2 parking spaces and sleeps 6.
