Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Municipality of Bohinj

We loved our stay! The property at the end of Lake Bohinj is lovely, with a beautiful creek flowing behind it and is close to the lake and many hiking trails. The property is big and very well kept. My family had fun playing games on the large grassy area with a volleyball net. The cabin is new, clean and cozy with nice bedding and well stocked kitchen and linens. We made 3 dinners and found everything we needed for food prep. If you're going to cook, you may want to pick up groceries before arriving in the area as the local markets have somewhat limited options. Amenities in the cabin were perfect! We watched movies, took saunas and lit fires in the fireplace - wood and kindling provided in cabin. Washer/dryer worked great and it was nice to do some laundry before moving on to our next destination. Jaka is very responsive. He communicates well and proactively using the AirBnB app.

Last year we've been to Bled lake and did visit Bohinj lake. This time ee realized to go for a holiday to Bohinj, because the location seemed to be much more quiter. And what to say? It was great. Our house was perfect, everything was clean, my wife, children, me and our dog Daisy had a great time here. I have to recomend this house for everyone who would like to spend beautiful holiday near the spectacular Bohinj lake. Thank you so much. Martin 🙂🙂🙂

Brian’s place is as described. It’s very close to Bohinj lake and tourist info centre, yet quiet and private. Great views from the villa and very accessible to most must see places in Bohinj. We were there 5 nights and felt at home. It’s great value especially for a large family as there are 3 rooms upstairs, 2 with queen size beds and 1 room with 2 single beds. Highly recommend!

5/5 for Bostjan’s hospitality. Such a friendly host - great local recommendations, took time and effort to explain us bled’s attractions and nearby spots. Squeaky clean apartment with high end furnishings. Beautiful views from the apartment. Walkable to the lake and bakeries, bars and restaurants. Loved our stay in Bled.

The Captains Lodge was an awesome place to stay. Right in a cute small town w small restaurants, a grocery store, and bike/kayak rentals all within walking distance. Lots of hikes and adventures nearby, about 15 minute drive to Bled. Cozy and clean cabin w full kitchen and upstairs comfortable sleeping quarters. The cabin is right on a river so outdoor space is beautiful with a hot tub, picnic table and lots of seating options, it even comes equipped with privacy shades. Natasa was helpful and responsive, she accommodated an early check in (last minute), gave us hiking and eating suggestions, and quickly and thoroughly answered any of our questions. Highly recommend as a cute, convenient, and unique place to stay!

Our stay at the End of the Road was the perfect introduction to Slovenia. The house itself is very peaceful, surrounded by forest and wildflowers. It feels remote but easy enough to reach many walks and attractions nearby. We could drive to hikes further away but on more relaxed days we could explore Vošče or walk into Radovljica. Mateja and Miha were very generous, spending time giving us recommendations for hikes and sightseeing. Local maps and guides were in the house on arrival. Mateja provided yoga mats, a really thoughtful touch, it was so relaxing doing yoga in the loft with a view of the trees. We also loved their little dog Leni and the turtles! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Mateja was always responsive to any questions and gave us lots of suggestions to make our stay even better. Highly recommend the End of the Road for anyone else visiting Slovenia and Triglav National Park.

It was a cozy little apartment, quite close to the lake. It had all amenities listed and the kitchen was also quite nice.

Metka has been a wonderful and kind host in greeting us, making recommendations on places to go and great walks around, anticipating our demands. She has always been responsive in our communications, before and during our stay. The house is very well equipped because it has been lived in by generations, with a soul. Super clean. The location is perfect if one looks for quietness, close enough to the beauties of the lakes but without the crowds and the traffic. It is in a living village with active farming around but no shops or cafés within walking distance. The views on the mountains are stunning (get up early to catch the sunrise !). We can see the road but it is ok. Having a car is a must but 3 bicycles in very good condition are available. We were 4 adults and the house felt very comfortable and at ease. It only has one shower room downstairs (but 1 toilet on each floor) but we managed. My wife enjoyed the piano too ! Lovely time, fond memories. Viva Slovenia !

The old mill house was perfect! Stayed with my parents for a few days hiking. Two comfortable bedrooms, amazing views of the mountains, well equipped kitchen and easily walkable to the Lake and many local hikes. Maja and Anton are from the village and have great connections, stories and tips. Nothing was too difficult and we loved staying at their house. Note there are some steep steps to get up to the apartment for anyone with mobility issues. Cannot wait to come again.

We had an amazing time in Bled. Easy to access the apartment and free parking was a plus. The beds and linens were super cozy. The location is very quiet. The access to bikes was great to ride around the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Erika's beautiful apartment. It is situated in a very walkable location, close to everything you could possibly need. The apartment itself is wonderfully appointed and is a lovely retreat to return too, at the end of each day. If we ever return to Lake Bled we would definitely love to stay again. Our stay in Lake Bled was delightful. This apartment looks exactly like the picture—extremely clean and bright with a stunning view of the lake. Even though it’s a studio, it has everything you need to feel comfortable. The balcony provided the perfect place to have coffee in the morning and to share a glass of wine in the evening. Natalija was very friendly, and provided a lovely guestbook with suggestions for restaurants and activities. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

This was our second time staying with Urška — two years ago we stayed at another one of her accommodations, and once again, we were not disappointed. The place is not too large, but it was very comfortable for our family of four. Everything is in its place, very cozy and full of charm. We usually don’t like sleeping on sofa beds, but this one is truly spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped — we found everything we needed. The bathroom feels like it belongs in a 5-star luxury hotel. The surrounding area is, of course, stunning — the Sava Bohinjka river flows just 10 meters from the house. It’s a great base for exploring Bled, the Bohinj area, and discovering Triglav. Urška is kind and helpful, the accommodation is excellent — I can only say good things. We had some truly memorable days here again. Thank you, Urška!

everything was perfect. We felt at home. My husband forgot his earphones and they let us return to pick them up a couple of mins after checkout.

We had a really nice time staying at the place. Jaka is a great host: super friendly and helpful. The apartment is ideally located if you plan a few excursions in the area and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Even little things like laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets and the like were thought of, which was totally practical. The parking right outside the door was a big plus and the breakfast we booked one morning was just awesome. Really delicious and made with a lot of love. Unfortunately, the WiFi was very unreliable, so we often had to use our mobile Internet. But that didn't detract from our stay. Overall a clear recommendation – we would come back any time.

Our stay at Janja's place was a great experience! Janja is a very friendly host and made our check in super easy. The appartment is located in a quiet, beautiful small village. from there we could cycle and hike to different places! Janja left us a lovely piece of cheese when we left. Would love to stay again, highly recommend!

Ana's apartment is within a 10 minute walk to Bled lake and less than 1 minute from the bus stop. Great location for restaurants. Accommodation was comfortable, cozy and quiet. Ana helpfully offered local recommendations and even a flexible check-in time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Luka and his parents are incredible hosts. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel very special with many touches. I really appreciate the time Luka takes to give recommendations of places and plans that fit the guests' tastes. The place is a house with a lot of history, recently renovated, with very good finishes and details. We would definitely go back, it was a nice experience.

Matej's place is well located, at a good distance from the lake and close to the supermarkets and bus stop. The garden and balcony were in our opinion the best parts of the house - we used both quite a lot to have lunch and dinner while enjoying the bright sun and tranquility of Bled. Matej also provides several nice amenities, such as a TV with a lot of shows and channels, baby chair and a washing machine (charged extra), and is always available to help.

We would 100% recommend! Exceptionally clean, centrally located, onsite parking. Great host and beautiful location. PS… if your vacation days includes rain, do NOT let it stop you from exploring, hiking (safely) and seeing all the area has to offer.

Miha was the perfect host. the property was exactly what we needed. during the day we had a lot of exhausting activities planned and being able to rest and recover in the beautiful surroundings made us fresh day after day. if I ever needed anything Miha was able to provide for me and my friends. we were all very sad to leave, we could have stayed there forever. I'm already planning my return to lake bled with the intention to stay here again.

We loved our stay at Marusa’s beautiful home. The ideal location for travelling around the Slovenia. Quick drive to Bled, Lake Bohinj and the surrounding areas. 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Radovljica. Marusa and her family were lovely hosts, very responsive to our messages and made us feel at home. Apartment was very clean and functional. Would recommend to anyone travelling around Slovenia.

In Marušas house, we felt comfortable from the very first second. The apartment is high-quality and tastefully furnished, everything you could need is available, with many loving details and unique works of art on the walls. 2 mountain bikes with helmets are available. The cozy seating area in front of the apartment and the beautiful garden invite you to linger and relax. The surroundings offer diverse and great opportunities to discover the region and the fantastic nature. Maruša is a perfect host who also had many tips ready. We enjoyed the time with her and with her very much.
