Carlingford Lough View House

lindaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
stayed at Caroline's to celebrate a friend's upcoming nuptials. We enjoyed all the amenities, hosting yoga on the astro, an evening in the hot tub and a dance class on the patio. we ate in with some catering and the basics were all there with lies of kitchenware. Caroline had very kindly set up an afternoon tea for our arrival which was a delightful surprise.

Contemporary Cottage in the Wicklow Mountains

My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚

We absolutely loved our stay at Rock Farm Slane! The place is so peaceful, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our dog, Zoe, had the best time exploring the wide, walkable spaces and taking in the beautiful sights. The atmosphere is serene, and it’s a wonderful spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway—especially for those with pets who love the outdoors! We’ll definitely be back.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My family loved our stay at Ardcarne Lodge. Brian and his parents were helpful and welcoming, with lots of local recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, and the lodge itself was utterly charming. We also appreciated the fresh flowers, and the grocery essentials in the fridge. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland!

Pat & Kate’s Self Catering

RoseRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A lovely presented cottage in the countryside. Great for a holiday when you want to be outside the cities and towns. There are great places to visit from this area both locally and further afield. There are historical areas of interest, beautiful countryside, and even a local micro brewery. If you love poetry visit the Kavanagh centre in Inniskeen. You do need a car to get around but it is worth the effort to get aquainted with the area especially the towns, restaurants and the lovely tea shops. Highly recommended.

2 bed cottage in the heart of Ballymore Eustace

NiamhRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A beautifully and extremely well equipped home that was a perfect base for us to explore the region. The elegantly designed cottage was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the private enclosed back garden was the icing on the cake with the beautiful sunshine and our dog who could potter about freely. Celine as a host was extremely friendly in her interactions and was very responsive to all messages. I have no qualms about recommending this listing to others.

Alensgrove Cottages No. 04

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a very spacious cottage in a beautiful setting. We were quite comfortable here for three nights and it was an easy commute to Dublin & Howth. The cottage had everything we needed and Sean was responsive to my questions regarding public transportation. My only regret is I didn’t get to enjoy the lovely grounds as we were out all day sightseeing and returned late each evening.

Everything about this stay was spectacular! Clara gave clear directions way before we even arrived. When we arrived the place was so clean and beautiful, maybe even better than the pictures. I loved how we had our own bar! She even left snacks for us. She had plenty of towels available as well. The shower was so nice with hot water! Beds were comfortable as well as the couches. I love when you walk out you are surrounded by a beautiful rose garden. Clara greeted us and was so warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend and would stay again!

Barncharm

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay in Barncharm, it looked even better than the photos. Rosina was always so nice to talk to+responded really quickly to any queries I had! The house itself was like a haven nestled in the gorgeous countryside, inside the house was so cosy+the owner had things for all eventualities. Our little boy loved the house +the gardens outside, he spent ages running around+cycling on his balance bike. He also loved the dogs that were staying in the cottage beside us. Another highlight was the Riverbank pub that was just a 5 minute walk down the road, the staff were lovely there, as was the food.I would'nt hesitate to recommend Barncharm and would have loved to stay longer. Thanks Rosina!😊
