I had ChatGPT search for a lodge/glamping facility that could accommodate pets between Hiroshima and Okayama for a family trip of 4 adults with dogs (2 Pekingese), and this facility came up as a candidate, and I finally decided on the availability and price on the scheduled date. It was a private rental accommodation that was renovated in a private house that seems to have been built around the 1940s, and the bath and toilet were renovated and replaced, and the surroundings were quiet and pleasant. There are hills and narrow roads along the way, so you may need to be careful with large cars, but the dog was able to safely spend time in the large lawn garden where you can also have a dog run. On the way back, we stopped at the Takamiyama Observatory and the souvenir shop at the foot of Senkoji Temple, and I think it is a good facility to spend time as a base for sightseeing around Onomichi and Shimanami Kaido, or as a villa to enjoy a little extraordinary time.

I would highly recommend it to people who are new to Airbnb, who are in touch faster than a typical hotel, etc. They often responded politely to my communications and answered questions in an easy-to-understand manner. It was an old house, and there was nothing around, but I think it was a perfect place to stay!

It was my first time on the Shimanami Kaido, and it was a great memory. From the inn, you have a stunning view of the Seto Inland Sea and its islands.We stayed for 3 nights as a family of 4, including a one-year-old, and it was very helpful that they were flexible in various ways.There were also plenty of activities like kayaking and SUP, and I have no complaints. I want to go again! PS: The swing provided was very popular with the kids!
