Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. Airds Wood Cottage is situated in the centre of this peaceful village, just a few minutes walk from the working harbour and a selection of forest walks. Choice of 3 glorious beaches within 6 miles. The golf course is just a minute away and village pub and selection of eateries within walking distance. Dogs are welcome - first 2 dogs free.

It’s a stones throw from the town centre with shops, bars and cafes selling local crafts and produce. Near to the apartment is the renowned art nouveau Picture House, one of the earliest surviving working cinemas in Scotland which opened in 1913. There are Fantastic Golf Courses, Whisky tours, Walks and Beaches to enjoy.

Tarsuinn, a charming and traditional cottage

Tarsuinn cottage is in an elevated location with spectacular views over the Shiskine valley surrounded by farmland. There is a small fenced garden to the side of the cottage with a bench in a very sunny spot. To the rear there is a farmyard belonging to the neighbouring farm, which is mostly a sheep farm and not too busy. Just a 5 minutes long walk away you can find the Bellevue farm and enjoy a guided tour and lots of animals, even Alpacas.
