Monthly Rentals in Mount Vesuvius

Giovanni was a wonderful host and his apartment was the perfect place for us to unwind after an exciting drive along the coast. We especially appreciate the ability to park off the street and the view from the space.

We lived the place it surpassed our expectations and was a fantastic base from which to visit the rest of the area. As a note if you use google maps to navigate on the train system it will send you to villa de misteri which is a long walk and the trains are uncomfortable crowded and noisy, but if you just hop on the train that’s 2 blocks away it’s nice quite and faster and only a few euros more. Also don’t use google maps to find the place it will send you up stairs with your luggage just walk straight out of the train station up the touristy looking street and turn left 3 blocks up ( short blocks ). A fantastic place to stay quiet and squeaky clean.

The house is really nice, recently renovated and very clean, with new furnishings and comfortable amenities that make the stay pleasant. The bathroom was tidy and sanitized, although I found some hair in the shower, a detail that was a bit out of tune with the rest of the general cleanliness. The location is strategic, right next to the station, which may seem ideal… but I still recommend getting around by car or motorbike: the rail connections are not very reliable and in the long run they can be uncomfortable. Overall, a good stay, with some small room for improvement.
