House vacation rentals in Mount Tabor, Portland

We came to town for my son’s basketball tournament. The house was located perfectly for our games and a great place to relax during down time. It was very clean with thoughtful touches like pool towels and new pool toys for the kids. The pool was so much fun, and it was even warm! We all had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here!

This is a lovely bungalow in a great neighborhood close to all Portland has to offer! The house is comfortable, clean, well stocked and we loved hanging on the front porch in the sunshine. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom’s had nice showers. We weren’t made aware there is a tenant in the basement unit until we received check in info the day before. Host was responsive to my concerns about thinking we had a rented an entire house to ourselves (apparently all Airbnbs in Oregon must have a resident living on the property? This was news to me, but maybe not to future renters). I think they could have done more to ensure we knew someone else was on the property (there are no shared utilities or doors, but we could hear the person downstairs at bedtime, and we were concerned our family with small kids would be audible to them as well). Again it’s a great house, I just wish we had known someone was under us when we chose it.

Our stay was nothing short of memorable. The home was beautiful, clean and well maintained, and the views were breath taking. The hosts were incredibly communicative and helpful when we had questions along the way. We would stay again and highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Nicholas’s place. The kitchen was roomy and functional. The pool and hot tub were very well kept. The kids loved all the games both upstairs and downstairs! Nicholas was a very accommodating host and helped us with schedule flexibility and responded quickly to questions about the house. Beds were comfortable and great linens! Beautiful views from the deck at all hours of day. Thanks!!

Wendy's place was perfectly and conveniently located for our needs. The place was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed. We would love to stay again in the future!

This was the best AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in! Amanda and Michael are literally the sweetest and think of every little thing to make your stay comfortable and special! We felt right at home! The neighborhood is adorable and so walkable to great food nearby. Super close to the MAX (local public transportation), so there was times we didn’t even need our car. We LOVED it here! Staying here made us fall in love with Portland all over again. We cannot wait to revisit RCH🌹

Lynne and Lucy were great hosts! My kids and I felt right at home here. This is a perfect place to getaway, relax, and stay for a few days. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable!

Easy check-in, and my kids loved the swim spa. We ran into an issue while there and Raja was very responsive, and offered to come over ASAP to help. We would stay here again.

Cristy’s house was a beautiful charming slice of nostalgia in a beautiful Portland neighborhood! The house has a gorgeous historic character while having all the comforts of a modern house. Located within walking distance to Division Street, with gorgeous neighborhoods all around. We appreciated Cristy’s flexibility and responsiveness, and had a great time!.

There’s not enough nice things to say about Kyl’s place! It was extremely comfortable, well located, clean, and tastefully decorated! My boyfriend and I loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Kyl was extremely accommodating and a lovely host. Also, the Oregon treats were an awesome touch and I am actively looking to see where I can buy more of the better bars!

It’s a very pretty house, comfortably fits 4-5 in the space if you use the fold out bed. Great location if you use the public transit, though the driveway is a little steep for lower profile cars. The host was always responsive, and made our stay very welcoming. Highly recommend this location for a nice chill stay in Portland outside of the city~

Second time staying here and loved it. Great place, comfortable bed and couches. Perfect little kitchen for quick meals. Extremely toddler friendly!!

This home is super unique and was a great stay

This was a first visit to Portland, Cora’s place was a good location to get to know this city. It’s a vibrant diverse community and was fun to visit. Bed and space was comfortable. Lots of cafes and eateries near by. Enjoyed walking the city and trip to Japanese garden. Parking a bit hard, but patience gets you a spot and it’s a very walkable city.

This beautiful home met our every need in perfect fashion! From prompt and clear communications, to flexibility - my wife and I couldn’t have asked for better hosts (Michelle and Jason)! Thank you Michelle for your kindness and generosity!

It is exactly as described and we had a great stay - it was just the two of us plus our small dogs and we were very comfortable. It is absolutely beautiful inside and very relaxing with the fan going and the sun pouring in the windows! Only thing to note for future travelers is if you need complete darkness to sleep, you should bring a sleep mask.

This is a wonderful place to stay!! The listing photo with the view of Mount Hood sold me on it, but the view is more stunning in person! Great neighborhood for walking and we loved walking around Mount Tabor. Scot & Karen were very responsive and accommodating. We’d definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Chris' home far exceeded our high expectations. The bungalow fully captures the quintessential Pacific Northwest vibe, and is even more beautiful and inviting than the photos suggest. We felt at home the moment we arrived. The space is uncluttered yet fully equipped with everything we needed, including a very well-stocked kitchen and pantry, an amazing shower, and a beautiful yard. Even during a heat wave, the house stayed cool and comfortable. The location is perfect—just minutes from excellent restaurants and close to everything we wanted to explore. The neighborhood is quiet, and street parking is readily available right in front of the home. It is the perfect place to call home when visiting Portland. We will definitely try to book Chris' charming bungalow on our next trip to Portland.

Such a hip and cool place. The space was very cool! It was clean and set up well. The location is great and so are the hosts! I highly recommend staying here if you are in Portland.

This sweet little house is a GEM- a block from a bustling neighborhood yet quiet and safe, beautiful inside and out. I felt downright spoiled by the number of pillows and huge fluffy towels, and the heated bathroom floors and big showers were right out of a luxury spa. 11/10 no notes!

The space is much bigger than the pictures portray! The space is excellent for pets. Location is amazing and extremely walkable. We are very appreciative of the hosts for this wonderful stay!

Charming duplex home in the heart of East Portland, near Mount Tabor. There are coffee, shops and restaurants within a couple of blocks. One parking spot out back, under the carport. Easy directions and checking instructions. The home was well appointed, comfortable furnishings and beds. We loved all of the windows, front porch, and the extra touches that the host put into making us feel welcomed. The host was wonderful to work with, very responsive and helpful. We would happily return!
