Great hosts with an excellent place at an excellent location

Olga was very responsive to a few requests we had. The place was neat and tidy. We appreciated having coffee every morning. The place was walkable to lots of amenities. We had a great time.

It was a very cozy place very fitting for my family. It felt like home with kitchen and laundry area being very accessible. The dishwashing machine was also a big help. there were 2 1/2 restrooms that made it easy for us since we don’t have to line up. ☺️ The neighborhood was quite and I really enjoyed the back porch as my sanctuary when I wake up each morning. Highly Recommended!! 💯

Philip and Josiane were wonderful hosts. Quick and helpful in their responses. Thanks a lot to both of you for providing a peaceful, clean and welcoming space to stay ! I highly recommend - affordable and a true gem as it’s very convenient to get into town via the train but still away from the hustle and bustle to have a peaceful relaxing stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at Amanda’s. All the comforts of home in a very quiet & lovely neighborhood with restaurants & bars just down the street. Amanda’s a fabulous host. She was very flexible with my check-in and even came out to greet me and help with my bags. Had super restaurant recs as well. I easily walked downtown from the house. Great location from which to explore Vancouver. Highly recommend!

This is a gem of a place, if you value peace and quiet and living in a neighborhood. It felt “homey” but with upscale touches to the space. Great kitchen and quality everything. Sarah was proactive in communicating but never over-present—we felt at home. If you think a basement apartment would be too dark, this is not the case here—more a half-basement. A big picture window in living room overlooks a green front yard and brings in lots of light. Same in the kitchen—a large window and glass entry door make it bright and airy. Some great restaurants and cafes are in easy walking distance so you can park and relax. Sarah was helpful with recommending some day hikes outside the city, and such a nice person—I’m glad we got to actually meet face-to-face. If we get back to Vancouver we will look here first for a return stay!

We loved the cozy oasis apartment! It was spacious and clean and very welcoming. Kevin and Angela are excellent hosts, the neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful, and we are so glad that we had the chance to stay there!

We felt right at home in this bright, clean, quiet apartment. Appreciated the privacy and ease of access, in a lovely, safe neighborhood just steps from lively Main Street, with its great shops and restaurants. The separate bedroom and living room with comfortable futon provided the perfect sleeping arrangement for a mother/son trip to Vancouver. Appreciated the gorgeous, oversized bathroom and high quality towels and bedding. I would happily stay here again in this wonderful location. Highly recommend.

Mark’s place was in a fantastic location - close to coffee shops and a variety of restaurants that are in walking distance. The house was spotless and as described. Parking spot available if requested and not being used. Instructions for entry and the stay were clear and reasonable. Home and the surrounding neighborhood had charm. Could not have asked for a better location. Wish most hosts were like Mark. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Amazing cute suite! the place was curated with such thought and detail. Good linens and amazing large shower. Very relaxing stay.

Ervin’s place is in such a great neighborhood: right by the water, safe, a bunch of great restaurants, a 10min walk to public transport (direct connection to the airport), a parking spot in the parkade, and much more. The directions for check-in are easy to follow and the place is comfortable and clean! We can highly recommend staying here!

Had a great stay! The space was beautifully designed, super comfortable and in a great location. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully put together, making it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were accommodating and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy spot in a great neighborhood.

I had a great time staying at the garden suite! Everything was beautiful, private, cozy and clean. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time, the location was great and close to Kitsilano beach and restaurants! Sarah is a great host!

Great location, within walking distance to tons of restaurants on Main Street and to Riley Park (multiple playgrounds), Nat Bailey Stadium and Hillcrest Aquatic Centre (swimming pool is under maintenance until end of June 2025). Space was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a Pack n Play available. Anthony and Leatt are great hosts, very responsive and go above and beyond to help. Leatt provided a list of kid-friendly restaurants to visit while we are in town. I was also offered allergy medication after they learned that I was having severe allergy symptoms.

I booked Sandra and Rob’s place for my parents, and it couldn’t have worked out better. The location was perfect, right around the corner from me, in the heart of Kitsilano, with easy access to public transit and everything walkable. Sandra and Rob were incredibly helpful and welcoming from the start. They went above and beyond to make my parents feel at home, with thoughtful touches like granola and berry preserve waiting for them on arrival. They checked in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly, and it was clear they genuinely cared. My parents really enjoyed chatting with both Sandra and Rob! The suite itself was very comfortable, fully equipped with a kitchen, which made it great for a longer stay. By the end of the trip, my parents felt like honorary Kits residents!

What a find this place was! The apartment is perfectly located very close to the main restaurants and shops in the Gastown area. It’s very walkable to everywhere in the downtown area. Communication with the host was brilliant both before and during our stay. The apartment is well thought out, with some gorgeous little details. It was immaculately clean and had everything we could possibly need. A really quiet apartment, we heard very little noise either inside or outside, during the night. We stayed here at the start of a 3 week trip and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The apartment block courtyard is currently being updated and it’ll be lovely when it’s finished. Will definitely stay here again when back in the Vancouver area!

We had such a lovely stay at Elyse and Alex's place. Our hosts told us everything we needed to know about getting to the suite and gave neighborhood recs. The place is so cozy, had everything we needed, plus its located in a very fun neighborhood and a prime location for public transit. We took the bus and Skytrain everywhere from here. It was so easy!

We have traveled to many countries and major cities and these hosts top them all! Very detail oriented! They greeted us from the start, described the area with advice, and they provided a guide for everything you could ever need! We loved how clean the place was and it smelled so good! They gave us the BEST recommendations for food and drinks. We cannot thank them enough for making this experience a top 5!

Everything as it should be. Well described, clean, fast communication. Easy access to Vancouver. Bus stations nearby. Nothing to complain. Traffic noise at night was ok. We had no problem to sleep. Thanks for sharing your own flat 🙏

It’s a great place to stay. Nice and clean condo with keyless access! It was easy to find a spot to park right next to the condo. This place has everything you need for short and long stays. The host is very welcoming and replies quickly to the messages. Carmen proactively provided helpful information as well as an option to adjust check-in and check-out hours.

The apartment was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Great apartment in a very peaceful neighborhood. Lots of space in the living room and bedroom, TVs with AirPlay availability in both rooms, enough basic kitchen amenities. Note that the patio is “semi” private, since there’s another condo right next to it, but that wasn’t an issue. The walls are also pretty thin so you can hear neighbors upstairs walking or in the hallway, but that wasn’t too disturbing. Bed was very comfy. Jo was very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond.

Very clean, cozy, and has a nice view. About 1-2 miles to shops and things to do. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Stanley Park also within 10 min. As long as you avoid one side of Hastings Rd, this is a great place to stay. I would highly recommend. The host is very helpful and a lot of attention to detail to make your stay comfortable. All the necessary Instructions needed for the lodging are very clear. A+ hosts

Great place close to the cruise port. We walked from Nicks place to the cruise ship. Very easy walk. Place was great for 3 Adults. Kitchen was nice to cook dinner too.
