Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mount Pleasant

We were a group of two couples staying for a long weekend to go to a wedding at Waipuna Estate. Jane's AirBnB was a perfect locaton for us as we were very handy to the wedding venue and also close to Tai Tapu, Halswell and Lincoln for restaurants, etc. The home was spacious and very homely and relaxing. We had everything that we needed and would recommend this as a peaceful and private place to stay.

Lovely homely cottage in quiet and peaceful location. Fire was lit and house warm on our arrival. Hosts were welcoming, helpful and responsive.

We loved our stay. We were a group of adults and there was enough space for us all to feel comfortable and at home. Would definitely stay again.

Tranquil and beautiful location beside the lake. Great to take a walk to the domain and see the birdlife.

There were three of us staying for three nights. Wish we would have stayed longer. This is a fabulous house, full stop. If it's available for the days that work for your travel schedule, do yourself a favor and book it. The views are great from the decks, and it's such a peaceful place. It's an easy drive into Christchurch and convenient for exploring nearby areas like Sumner and Akaroa. The house was new, large, tastefully decorated, and super clean. Communications with Viv were excellent and replies were prompt. Check-in and check-out were super easy too. This house is a 10/10.

Beautiful home with stunning interior; the home was well furnished and had a lot of character with the beautiful decor and art pieces. It was a shame that we only stayed for one night, would have loved to spend some more time here. The airport was just a 9 minute drive away which made it so convienient.

Lovely place, very centrally located -- one day we simply walked in to centre of Christchurch and we were kind of surprised how doable that was because the place didn't seem like it was close to centre of town. Felt more suburban. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Everything was clean, and was nice to have a garden. We were a couple, and the place was perfect for us. It can theoretically accommodate more given there's a second bedroom but that would be a bit of a stretch, especially in winter, unless you move the dining table from kitchen to living room or some such. We hugely enjoyed our stay.

A great, spacious apartment and well located. Comfortable and modern, with both air conditioning and a gas fire. We were able to get parking most of the time, and when it was full, still parked conveniently on the road outside the apartment. A small issue with the kitchen sink tap was handled quickly and efficiently. A great place to stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending or returning next time we’re over in Christchurch.

We came together as a family to this home to celebrate Christmas. It was a beautiful place with stunning views. We could easily make dinners from scratch using all the kitchen equipment included in the home. One note for future AirBnb'ers to this property, the cleaning instructions are rather extensive along with the $160+ USD cleaning fee tagged onto the booking.

Great apartment with excellent restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Would recommend the Trolly Cafe. Comfortable furniture and well supplied I would recommend to anyone.

our stay was wonderful. the daily views from the windows was spectacular. The apartment is exactly as described and Devon's responsiveness to our minor questions was super prompt. The location is perfect as it is close to everything, and especially since Hagley park was right next to us. I would highly recommend this apartment for families of between 2 and 6 people. We loved our stay.

We had a lovely mums stay at this accomodation, the host was great to deal with, we even got to check in slightly earlier than expected! The house was immaculate, it would be great in there was an iron available for use, and the two king beds were quite hard, but other than that it was a beautiful house, very warm on a very cold weekend with beautiful views!

Maree hosts a fantastic, beautiful, comfortable renovated villa home in a superb location that remains private and serene. She was a great host and I could not recommend staying here highly enough.

Big house but a bit old the wash basin in one bathroom was cracked needs replacing.

Lovely old cottage tucked away at the end of a road. Easy walk through Hagley Park to the town centre. There was everything we needed to feel at home. Very clean throughout. Particularly enjoyed the cosy lounge to chill at the end of busy days in Christchurch. Roomy bedrooms and a great kitchen too. John gave us useful tips on getting the best from our stay. Highly recommend Brockworth Cottage.

We truly recommend this accomodation. The Villa itself is simply stunning and you can feel a sense of heritage in there. From beautiful wooden wall, stained glass and classic exterior. Not only that, the home itself is very high tech with a very modern lightning and heating system. We were impressed with the facilities provided (so many toys and hot tub) and how beautiful the home was! For us it was even more beautiful than the pictures and we weee in awe when we arrived. Overall we all enjoyed our stay! Ohana is fast and friendly. The location of the home is peaceful and not too far from the CBD (around 10-15 mins drive) and quite close to Westfield Riccarton. We highly recommend this beautiful property !

We had a pleasant stay at the villa overall. The location was great—peaceful and private, with beautiful views. The villa itself is spacious and well-designed, with a lovely outdoor area that's perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the living areas were comfortable and clean. However, there were a few issues worth noting. Some of the light bulbs around the villa were not working, which made a few areas dim in the evenings. Additionally, one of the bedrooms did not have hot water in the shower, which was inconvenient. Also, there was no light on the hot tub, which made it difficult to use at night time before 10 pm due to winter dark getting sooner. With a bit of maintenance, this villa could be excellent. Despite the minor problems, we enjoyed our time and would consider returning if these were addressed. Thanks for amazing experience ☺️
